What? Look at the system in afghanistan. Its a war torn nation. They dont have nearly any facilities or coaching staffs or domestic like bd. Bd spends koti koti taka on these players. Barring the seniors no other players are performing and u cant entirely blame the system.
Afghan player dont need system to play fearless cricket. When bd batters go out to bat its like they are going to be executed, their body language look so scared.
Afghan playera play with confidence, they wanna win every game and have huge mental edge over them.
And our sissy boys wont ever be able to match that despite having better skills and techniques and all the coaches in the world.
Karo kono sahosh nai. Shob menda bilai except the senior players
Afgjanistan will win the wc before us because they want to and willing to give everything with brave heart.
Afg will win again tomorrow. Its sad to see bd in this state.
Tamim and mushy’s bravery couldnt inspire these losers then i donno what will!
Bd women team won asia cup cuz they have more balls then this scared cats.

Our players specially the young ones are not smart thinkers, they are like Ashrafool.
Only Miraz seem to have a good cricket brain

Also, the fame and money gets to their head, some of them cannot handle it. Even a bowler like Taskin is a superstar in BD despite not being in the team regularly or being a world class pacer, he is busy making advertisements.
Enough with the "Our cricket infrastructure need development", the team should not be losing to Afghanistan like this, there can be no excuses to that. The players need to take responsibility

Bcb is the biggesr culprit here. Why BD team failing. No plan, no initiative, no regional cricket improvement, nothing to help from the grassroots. BCB is too comfortable in their comfortable offices in Dhaka. Too much Centralisation is bad for any countrys general well being. Bcb needs to do more other regions and for the sake of God build some cricket infrastructures in other parts so youngsters don’t have to travel 5-10hrs from one remote corner to Dhaka just to use the freaking facilities to train. You’re not poor BCB stop wasting the money to fill your own pockets up. Useless bunch!

As fans we'll continue to root for our team unconditionally. At the same time I admire fans who have the courage to call it like it is when it is required; in this case for calling out players for displaying cowardice and shameful attitude. Afghan players have something that our new players lack. Our players have it until they make it to the national team. As soon as they get a dose of reality they are overcome with fear and too quick to put their tail between their legs. Our seniors took time to get there because they had no trailblazers to follow; they had to forge their own path. Same argument doesn't apply to this bunch. If the seniors were to retire today there's little doubt these guys would take 5-10 yrs to get us back to the current state. Afghans would probably do it in two. The thing they lack is what Mr. Escalante called GANAS.

Regardless of whether we win or not, This thread should be kept alive until further notice. Shameful performance from the youngsters. Can't even get the basic right in any department.

No sense of professionalism amongst the youngsters.
No determination to improve oneself.
No hard-working ethic.
Can we try someone like Abdul Mjaid ? He impressed me with his exhibition match century

New and most old players have the same issues sadly. This environment is not conducive to build a long lasting team.I have only seen Tamim, Mash and Mushfiq to be better than others.
Some players could have the above principles but sadly cant convert when playing international cricket

Hopefully it will come back in a positive way where a young player puts his hand up and performs out of his skin, then we can say new players are not crap

Our next gen guys are so poor it's a surprise the seniors don't give up and get bundled out for 150 more often
