চট্টগ্রাম: অপ্রত্যাশিত এবং অনাকাঙ্খিত ঘটনার পুনরাবৃত্তি। বিশ্বকাপের সময় ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ দলের বাসে ঢিল ছোঁড়ায় তুলকালাম অবস্থা। তবে এবারের ঘটনা আগেরটিকেও ছাড়িয়ে গেছে। আগেরবার ঢিল লেগেছিলো বাসের গ্লাসে, এবার সরাসরি খেলোয়াড়ের গায়ে। তাও মাঠের ভেতরে, খেলা চলাকালে।

পূর্ব গ্যালারির কাছে, বাউন্ডারি লাইনে ফিল্ডিং দিচ্ছিলেন কিয়েরন পাওয়েল। লেন্ডল সিমন্সও হতে পারেন। নিশ্চিত করা যাচ্ছিলো না প্রেসবক্স থেকে। তবে ঘটনাটি হাজারো দর্শকের চোখের সামনেই ঘটেছে। আচমকা একটি ইটের টুকরো গায়ে এসে লাগে ফিল্ডারের। তবে আঘাত খেয়ে ফিল্ডার বেচারা ইটের টুকরোর খোঁজে নয়, ভয় পেয়ে দ্রুত চলে যান মাঝ মাঠের দিকে। আম্পায়ারকে বিষয়টি জানান।

বিষয়টি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে নেন আম্পায়ার। খেলা সাময়িক বন্ধ রাখেন। নির্দেশ হয় দর্শকদের দূরে সরিয়ে নেওয়ার।

ইটের টুকরোটি টুর্নামেন্ট অর্গানইজিং কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান গাজী আশরাফ হোসেন লিপুর কাছে রাখা আছে। সূত্র জানিয়েছে ১০০ গ্রাম ওজনের একটি টুকরো হবে এটি। যদিও বিসিবির নিরাপত্তা কমিটি থেকে প্রথমে জানানো হয় আমলকি ছোড়া হয়েছে। পরে খোঁজ নিয়ে দেখা গেলো ইচ্ছে করেই ভুল তথ্য দেন বিসিবির নিরাপত্তা সমন্বয়ক আব্দুল হক।

এদিকে, ঢিলের চেয়েও ন্যাক্কারজনক ঘটনা হলো পূর্ব গ্যালারি থেকে দর্শকরা অকথ্য গালাগাল দিচ্ছিলেন ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের ওই ফিল্ডারকে। গালাগালগুলো ইংরেজিতে হওয়ায় খেলোয়াড়ের বুঝতে কোন সমস্যা হয়নি। এ নিয়েও ম্যাচ রেফারির কাছে নালিশ হয়েছে।

এবিষয়ে টুর অর্গানাইজিং কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান লিপুর ভাষ্য,“অনেকের ভেতর থেকে কেউ যদি ঢিল ছোড়ে গালাগাল দেয় কি করতে পারবো। গ্যালারিতে পুলিশ দেওয়া আছে। আমরা প্রতিনিয়ত মাইকে দর্শকদের সতর্ক করছি। তারপরেও এটি অনাকাঙ্খিত ঘটনা। তবে আমরা দ্রুত দর্শকদের নিচের গ্যালারি থেকে ওপরে তুলে নেওয়ায় ম্যাচ রেফারি অ্যান্ডি পয়ক্রফট সন্তুষ্ট। ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ এতে নাখোশ হয়েছে কি না এই মুহূর্তে বলতে পারবো না।”

কারিকারি টাকা খরচ করে বিশেষ নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী নিয়োগ দিয়েছে বিসিবি। ওয়াকি টকি হাতে নিয়ে তারা শুধু গেট পাহাড়া দেন। অনেকেরই অভিযোগ কাজের কাজ না করে প্রায়ই অপ্রয়োজনীয় ঝুটঝালেমলায় জড়িয়ে পড়েন এর কর্মীরা। খেলার সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত অনেকেই বিসিবির নিরাপত্তাবাহিনীর হাতে নাজেহাল হয়েছেন। এ সম্পর্কে লিপুর বক্তব্য,“নিরাপত্ত� �� সমন্বয় করার জন্য আমাদের লোক আছে। তারা মুলত গেটগুলো দেখে। নিরাপত্তার সমন্বয় করে। তাদেরকে সতর্ক রাখা হয়ে।”

নিরাপত্তা সমন্বয়বাহিনীর কাজের নমুনা দেখতে পেলেন দেশের মানুষ। আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর সঙ্গে তাদের যোগাযোগ হলো ঘটনা ঘটারও অনেক পরে। বিসিবির নিরাপত্তা কমিটির পরিচালক কর্নেল (অব) মিজবাহ উল হক সেরনিয়াতকে ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত দেখা যায়নি। তার মোবাইল ফোনটিও বন্ধ পাওয়া গেছে।

বিশ্বকাপের ছয় মাস যেতে না যেতে আরেকটি ঘটনার পূনরাবৃত্তি সম্পর্কে লিপু বলেন, “এই ঘটনা থেকে আমরা শিখলাম আমাদেরকে আরো সতর্ক থাকতে হবে। আরেকটু প্রচার চালাতে হবে। ভবিষ্যতে যাতে একই ঘটনার পূনরায় না ঘটে সেদিকে নজর দেব।”

and not to mention about some spectators who seem to be unhappy about everything and shout their lungs out saying "bhua bhua" ! These types of spectators really lack cricketing knowledge and decency. Sports field is not their place, they better go and participate in Politics.

I am still baffled as to why there aren't people employed in the stadium to deal with this sort of behaviour. Here even in County/practice matches there will be 2/3 stewards in every stand to oversee the fans' behaviour and take action when needed.

If anyone is a member on CaribbeanCricket or any other West Indian cricket forum, they should open a thread apologizing for the behaviour of a few, aberrant fans. It should be clear that there are always a few barbaric morons in a stadium.

After the bus stoning incident, I'm afraid of any bad publicity that there may be for Bangladesh as a touring destination. I'd do it myself if I didn't have to go to work.
