EVEN if it is their fault we should not jeopardise our reputation, i.e reputation of BD fans. Hacking, if it happened in our site is` a serious offence. If we caught any of our members trying to do that to BC, it is outright BAN.

May be who said earlier that they're updating only when a wicket falls -he's right.
So the longer they take to update their site, the better for us (NO WICKET FALLING IN THE MEANTIME).

Someone has blown it guys. I've been following events as a Scottish cricket supporter and contacted the site when I saw the problems with the initial comments on the live pages about Bangladesh cricket. They have let me know that the page was hacked into and that those and the subsequent comments have meant that the live coverage provided yesterday will not happen today.
The service was provided without anticipating that a cricket follower would hack into it. Associate countries operate on a shoestring by the way. So those that subsequently hacked in to comment on previous comments have not helped!
Since I believe this mechanism would have been the same one that might have been used for the Scotland games as well I presume that similar live coverage of those games may not happen either.

Hello Trueblue, welcome to banglacricket.
But the problem today was that cricketIreland site didn't start the live coverage from the very beginning, like yesterday. There was also no news that they are going to provide live scorecard after sometime.
However, I apologize for others who have tried this misconduct.

Trueblue . Pre-emptive action? I strongly condemn the bloody hacker. But your comment is bit of a laugh regarding no live broadcast of Scottish games. I think Irish site didn't have any plan to cover the match live in the first place.

Does anybody know who was the 4th wicket that fell, and/or who is batting at the moment?

i disagree. a web site that put such comments about us ......... i don't care they are being hacked or whatever. u are talking about respect when asking not to hack. but they need to learn to respect first before they can get one.

I agree there was an issue with news about the start of play. However I repeat the associate countries operate on a shoestring. You are not deaing with results from cricinfo. In fact live results like this are a very recent innovation in an effort to keep people up to date and will doubtless involve some volunteer who would be happier watching the game themselves. So there is a learning process about informing people of delays etc. Nevertheless there needs to be some understanding of the background.
There will have been some hard lessons learnt and little time to resolve things before the next game. Which is a blow to me since I wanted to follow the Scotland Bangladesh game live myself.

There are no average web developers in Scotland who would be willing to work for the cricket board?
