-═════ι▬▬ The Dhaka Gladiators ▬▬ι═════ﺤ
An Ode on Dhaka Team ( By FagunerAgun )
Habibul Bashar and his gang with swords
Swaying with a force,
In the la la capitial of the land
With their drums and band.
The land of cultures, education, charisma, traffic jam and slums
Becomes so often the bloody battleground of the begums.
Now it is a time for cold and cricket
So everyone hunkers down with a blanket.
I still feel proud, I still feel happy
When I recollect those golden days in my memory.
It was a constant strife in Dhaka but I was happy and joyous
Now I have everything in the paradise, but life is vicious.
I will not be there on the cricket ground
But once I was there, now no trace can be found
Because the wave of time has buried
But in my memory, it will be cherished.
FOODS
Sir Ashraful is our icon player We were forced to accept him
All the Best to Dhaka. We will win the BPL inshallah

Rifat Bro: can you pls put an "icon" of Dhaka team (logo or something) in the first post, or something decorative? It'll look nice
"icon" Ash wont be bad either.

Dhaka is the other team I will be supporting despite their below par icon player besides Khulna. Goodluck Dhaka! The prestige of the capital city rests on your shoulder.

While both my parents came from North Bengal and my relatives still have strong ties, I have been mostly nomadic but feel strongly tied to Dhaka having lived there most of my Bangladesh years and during the crucial periods of youth (Class 9 through University).
So I will be rooting for Dhaka with slight sympathies for Rajshahi.
The rest can burn.
My only issue with with Dhaka is our iconic player. But, then again ....
Matin will save us!

Dhaka will be my first and only team. I don't have any 2nd team. Born and raised here and both my parents' hometown also fall in Dhaka division.
Go Ash!!!

rifat @cri vhaya, nice thread!
@ Boss, classic posters!
I love all my tigers. My tigers come from all over Bangladesh and hence I support all BPL teams! I would like to see our players mingle with international players and gain some experiences from it. Hope this BPL league will benefit our cricket!
Go Dhaka Tigers!
Go Bangladesh!
May the best team win!
and
YES, Go Ashraful! Make it count!

Be proud of it, man! Remember, it's a T20 format and some people suggested Ashraful is a good T20 player!
