Abul Hasan has a Five-for. Liton is in the Runs.

This guy Forhad Reza's FC stats as an AR is decent, makes me wonder if we got him tried in the international stage at the wrong format. surely we could have tested him regarding we tested Hom

Raat nekre, there are people who are just good enough to excel at Domestic. FReza, Tushar Imran are two such players. At international level, Farhad bowls 1-2 boundary ball that kills his chances as a bowler. As a batter he struggles at short bowling at his body and genuine pace.

I know, I am just saying since we tried him in the int stage we could have tried him in tests, looking at all hi FC stats it looks like longer version is where he is decent. his debut was in 2006 and we have tried many guys in tests since then with all his problems

We tried Hom as a bits n pieces player in Tests. No dice. In general if a player can't crack it into your ODI side as either a batsman or bowler, he shouldn't play Tests.

I dont agree with that, Mominul couldn't cut it in our ODI side yet he is out test future. HaBa was also another example. By the way I am not saying we should try Reza now, that boat has sailed, I am just saying we could have tried him in tests back in 2006-2010 rather then trying him in Limited overs

My point is both Momin and HaBa have been and will probably again be, drafted as batsman into the ODI side. Do you see FReze making it to the side as a batter only?

I do understand now what you are saying though. Earlier on, you are suggesting we could have tried him in Tests. And my answer still stands. I don't think he was good enough then either.

Liton Das back to doing what he loves doing... tons of runs in the domestic scene. Hope this season he can take care of some of the technical aspects of his batting.

He will eventually come good - at least in Tests. His game is gap-oriented, not wham-bam manufacture shot type.

Bangladesh have a great deal of talented players coming through now.

There are lots of spots in the senior team that needs to be filled. Hopefully someone can step up and solidify a spot and make it their own.

He is way better than Anamul. Anamul through is good against spin but hey an opener has to prioritize ability to play the moving ball

I'm still in awe as to why the PSL Megathread was sticky'ed...

Guy's don't over-analyze everything. If IPL, SLPL or Big Bash had oodles of BD players, then those would probably get stickied too. I didn't do the stickying but seriously this kind of petty motive-seeking is why BD struggles as a nation.

It's ok bro...was just an assumption. PSL is another couple of months. I was pointing out to the premature placement of it.

I think Raj isnt that bad of a captain, he showed it in BPL 2, but yes this time he is acting very selfish, I think the insecurity has kept in. he is trying all he can to get back in the team.

Good to see Shamsur getting some fc runs. 17 Shanto good looks a good prospect well done on the maiden ton. Raqibul Hasan still with the double ton good to see. Need more test calibre batsmen for test format ahead.

Shanto already has a ton, he scored his second one.

Congrats to Tushar Imran becoming the first Bangladeshi to score 8,000 First class runs.
