Default Humble request to show it to Mushfiq and Co.

This 'Fire in Babylon' entire documentary is here, now please, this isn't intended to be a thread for joke or passing on humorous comments. I know BC is the place where atleast messages can be reached due to access by some people. Now the thing is, we all certainly believe we take our cricket very passionately, it all goes down to that extra little bit of love we all have for our country. Now that doesn't others aren't patriotic, but I think any general follower can tell we are the most passionate bunch, examples of Asia cup final, or England world cup game are there for all to see. To be honest, the way we see our cricket, I think even the other subcontinental countries don't see it that way nowadays. We all realize we have the spark, and its actually all comes down to the question of self-belief.

At a time of racial tension, this bunch of Caribbean guys dominated the world, and yes, all others were left to talking. At a time, when we are being discouraged instead of encouraged due to our recent improvements (look no further than current champions trophy or even the future formats), this is the time to reinvigorate that belief. I know we might not be on the same talent level, but what I am saying is to get that same spirit in our team which is described very finely in this documentary and how to stir things up. We all believe we have that, its just waiting to be ignited.

So please, I implore someone who can actually inform someone in our team, most likely Mushfiqur, to show this to him, or someone like a Mashrafee, and to get that collective spirit going in our team. Am telling these names because these are the kind of players who can rub this attitude on others rather than say like a Razzak. We all know what was the effect of Maverick Studios clip on our players in the England fixture. I would love this to be shown to Mushfiqur, because he is the most educated and he is got all the man management skills to make this happen. Sorry for the long post, but please, lets take the effort of somehow making it to reach to our players and educate them about this. If this had been possible in history, then there is no reason why we Bangladeshi boys cannot repeat this, the ingredients are there, only mixing is required, and please lend me your support in this. Thanks a lot for your patience.

It's a good documentary. Not sure how long the motivation should last, but I wonder how come they don't watch it of their own accord. It seems they don't enjoy cricket.

Priceless observation.

saying that our players dont enjoy cricket is a wrong statement. Our players love the sport as much as we die-hard fans do.

The difference between our players and cricketers of top teams is that our players are not really into a lot of activities. How many of our players have a certified twitter account, or their own fanpage(and not one run by someone who has no relation with the players). Ok these things are secondary and unimportant. I hope I dont get criticized here. Someone from a well-to-do family would probably have greater knowledge of the outside world and would give importance to things like working out, dieting, speaking proper English, etc. At the same time, someone coming from a poor family is probably expected to hit the gym...heck, they wont even know what "dieting" means.

While professional sportsmen around the world usually come from well-to-do families, our players mostly come from ordinary families....barring shahriar nafees and tamim
