mods can we please have the thread in the Bangla Cricket section until the tournament starts. that way we will get a lot people playing the game.

World of 20-20 My Game Page

This game is now live. Some points to note Transfers: Unlimited transfers are allowed only until 17:00 GMT on April 30, 2010. Thereafter, you have got 20 transfers available till the group matches get over on May 12, 2010. This will be followed by a period of 'unlimited transfers' till the first semi-final starts May 13, 2010. For a detailed look at the match and cut-off timings, please refer to the matches covered page. Cut-off time lines for transfers: Teams (including the Trump Player) are 'locked' at the cut-off time for every match. Any changes made to your team after the cut-off time come into effect only from the next cut-off onwards. Score Updates: Scores will be updated shortly after the end of every day's play. BC rules: Please entry One team.

Step 1:
Go to cricinfo register with them
Then go to their fantasy game section
Choose World 20-20 game
Create a team

Step two:
PM Baundule with your email address and receive an LPIN code
Then log back in to cricinfo fantasy section (step 1)
On the left hand menu click to 'Join League'
Insert the LPIN code and you are in.

Make sure you read my previous post on how to play the game.

Tips: Trump players get you double points. You can change your "trump player" right before the game starts (cutoff time). Now if the game is delayed that cutoff time still stands.

20 transfer for 24 games is simply not enough. Yet we all have to manage the teams. So choose your players wisely and keep an eye at the schedule as well.

Most of it depends on if your chosen player performed that perticular day or not. I think everyone who has played this game a) chose a player and didn't perform and dropped him. b) next game he plays a monster innings. Those are the pain we all have to live with.

The tables below show the point-scoring breakdown for the Series.

Take a quick look to view how your team can tot up the points as the ball flies off the bat or tears through the stumps...

Stage 1: Round robin

Batting Run scored: 1 Points Six runs (off one ball) bonus*: 2 Points Dismissed for duck: -10 Points

Run rate bonus (for batsmen scoring 20 runs or more) Between 00.00 and 49.99 runs per 100 balls: -30 Points Between 50.00 and 74.99 runs per 100 balls: -20 Points Between 75.00 and 99.99 runs per 100 balls: -10 Points Between 100.00 and 149.99 runs per 100 balls: 0 Points Between 150.00 and 179.99 runs per 100 balls: 10 Points Between 180.00 and 199.99 runs per 100 balls: 20 Points Above 200.00 runs per 100 balls: 30 Points

Specially if we do it now, more people might notice the thread and join the league. There aren't too many teams in the league and more teams would hopefully make it more exciting. Thanks.
