Thats the spirit. Remember the Shafiul Riyad parnterhsip...Riyad is our crisis manager...he doesn't actually do most of the run scoring but presides over it. Hope he can do that this time again!

I don't think we can consciously play for a draw yet, what I mean is, it's still possible for us to draw but not by playing for a draw. We have to release some pressure by getting runs and thus putting the WI under some pressure. I don't think Gazi has it in him to play defensively for the draw, but i would back him to hit the spinners for a couple of sixes and a few fours. All of his big scores in the NCL have contained quite a few slogged shots particularly off the spinners.

Batting out 36 overs with 3 wickets, or scoring 116 runs. I pick runs.

You mean a specialist bat playing with someone with FC hundreds and two bowlers cant play out a session?
116 runs with 3 kts in the very last session of a Test match! Hmmm...I see the effect of T20.

TIK should have gone for it, Sehfag style. Sehfag usually fails in clutch situations but I think TI could have hammered a 50...even 30 runs would set the tone. Because it would push WI onto the backfoot immediately.

Leave the MLC commissioner alone. He hails from the land of the brave, where we are still trying to understand cricket on a conceptual level.

What these two needs now to score quickly, bring back pressure over fielding side and keep rotate the strike. Wicket holding is highly unlikely, better go for with their natural hitting and keep the score up which may win the game or loose it in smaller mergin.

Btw, why not come up with time-wasting antics and play out the time.
It happens in soccer all the time.
