bangladesh invited to play in duleep trophy?
I heard it some where that indian cricket board has invited bangladesh to play in duleep trophy. it is right, it is a very welcome move by indian board. more over, the invitation is to play in duleep trophy which is more important because in duleep tropy, the zones are competing wherein ranji trophy states are involved. so by inviting bangladesh to play in duleep trophy, indian cricket board respected the feeling of bangladesh and they have ensured them to play in higher level.

schedule
good deal. what is the conflict with our own first class competition? I think our national players need to spend some time there as well, and the team for the duleep trophy could include a larger pool of national and "A" players
On the other hand it's only 2 games - we will be playing East and Central zones.
Is this confirmed by BCB?

Bangladesh will be playing as a Visiting Team, not as a zonal team. - similar to the Pura Cup.

Our A team is perfect for this. Alok, the new left handed opener and some of the promising fast bowler can get some good experience from it.

DotBall,
No, no, no, no.
It has to be the first team. They need more practice against sub-Test leel competition, so they can learn how to win.
By going into the Duleep trophy, the first team gets some practice against teams that are weaker than their usual opposition, but still strong enough to provide good competition.
Seriously, looked at the number of first-class games Bangladesh test players hae played ; it's way, way lower than their age group peers, let alone their age group peers with the same number of Tests.

bd should not send national team but a team mixed with youth of national team and A team. Yes, a second string team will be good. You can call the team whatever you want. Just don't send full national team. Because we're test team now, and it'll be good for our youth.

I agree with IanW. We should play our National team in duleep tournament if possible. We need to give our national team as much practice as they can handle. At the same time we should increase our domestic league competition so that other players can learn from national team players. Bangladesh corporate league should bring good foreign players to make our league more competitive.
