ok I should have clarified but those records includes Dhaka Gladiators, Dhaka Dynamites and then Sylhet Royals, Sylther Superstars, Sylhet Sixers. So both teams went through multiple franchise changes.
If we just do Dynamites vs Sixers, it is 2-1 in Dhaka's favor. We should go with that.
Reason why it is deshi el clasico -
1. Both region have rich history
2. With very different culture and customs
3. As Sylhet is the Catalonia of BD with their distinct language and rebelling against the authority of Madrid (or Dhaka).
4. 2 of the only 3 regions that have established home/away fixtures.
Concrete jungle, city of 200k plus rickshaws, highly dense
vs
the city of superior landscape, with Tea states, much more green and Tourist spots, even better parks.

To be honest, Sylhet as a city is shi.t.
Why? because it's been more than 50+ years sylhetis have been living in UK, nearly a population of 500,000! more than 100 million go into Sylhet every year! but what has this resulted in? even today I think Sylhet is behind Dhaka and Chittagong. Where does all these money go? I mean the 100 million is just a guess, the figure is way more.
I have not been to Bangladesh recently (last visit 8-9 years ago), hence I wouldn't know if it has overtaken Dhaka or Chittagong.

Pardon my ignorance. I thought Sylhet was a state.
What are those tea states?

BD is too small to have states. Sylhet is just a division. Country divided into six division. Each division has few districts - total 64. All these helps administration. BD is smaller than Connecticut so you know.
Multiple tea gardens under one company lease is called tea states.

I thikn mufi once posted this...Sylhet gave birth to some great Bangla folk songs...
sylhet sixers should make this the anthem .. a remake by a NYC sylheti rap artist lal miah (who is actually very good/better than london ones) of a pretty famous song that even i heard it before. Famous song was by Runa laila that i am guessing probably got it from the syleht version.?

You are just jealous nekre. Typical Dhaka fans.
Looking at this thread and Nielsen surveys, Sylhet has more passionate fans. They said even the neutrals are rooting for Sylhet. Dhaka is no match. So sad!
