And that's it. No Ganguly, no Gayle. It's all over.

The most destructive T20 batsman is unsold. Gayle has just taken 32 runs in an over in a big bash match. Tamim will mature up and a sure deal for the next auction. If Shakib gets enough chances, he will shine for sure.

if tamim's base prize was $20000 like blizzard he would have been 1st choice..

can anyone explain why so many players were put in and not sold, the way it was being described beforehand it seemed like any players chosen from that point would be sold as if there was one bid it would go to that single bidder,

urgh so frustrating

its unfortunate that tamim didnt get a team... i was really hoping somebody would pick him up...
We need to kick some serious *** in this world-cup... it seems whatever we do in our home series goes unnoticed so this time we have to do it at the biggest stage of all.... Frankly i believe the IPL auction is not a reflection of the common people in India... its more about the jokers that call themselves the analysts sitting with the billionaires. On the first day they spend loads of money as if they didnt know there would be a second day...its shows there wasn't proper planning based on players....

also the fact that Mashrafi, Ashraful and Razzak all sucked big time with the opportunity they got in IPL... didnt help our cause... but Shakib is a whole new level altogether... he will shine in IPL

Seems like fans are more upset than Tamim himself. I am sure Tamim would love to play in IPL but he is not that desperate. His chance will come. As for those keep complaining about why some one like blizzard gets a contract and tamim doesn't check the base price? Franchises wasted their money early for big names now they have to fill in their squad with cheaper players.

Tamim should show something extraordinary to make him an obvious choice. This time may be his performance was ignorable for some of less cricket knowledgeable IPL owner. A storming performence in WC specially in 19 feb could open their eyes.
