Here is an article I found.
Read it and make your own decisions.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has joined forces with a London based agent in their hunt for the head coach as well as bowling and fielding coaches said the BCB Director and Chairman of the Media Committee Jalal Younus on Thursday.
Jalal Yunus, who is currently in London, is hoping to pen the contracts as soon possible with disserving applicants.
“There is this other way of finding a coach through an agent and here in London we have an agent who has worked for some good coaches from England, Australia and South Africa. Hopefully we will be able to find some one capable soon,” said Younus over phone.
Besides Stuart Law and Graham Ford, few other first class coaches’ names have been short listed said Younus.
Though former fielding coach Julian Fountain applied for the post of the fielding coach, BCB is not showing any interest to reassign the English coach due to his demands for extra benefits and salary hike.
“ We are not interested in hiring Julian rather we are looking for a better option and we have already contacted the agent for a bowling coach. I have a meeting with the agent this Saturday. Hopefully we will come down to something then. South Africa’s Graham Ford was showing family reasons before but when we showed some eagerness for him, he asked us to share the facilities and the remuneration structure. We are also thinking about talking to Trevor Belis though his agent is different,” said Younus.

Sorry coach. Looks like you have been shafted and a handshake meant nothing. When you have a bunch of political gions running the show, this is what transpires. I do hope you know that not all of us are like this.

Coach- You should have never trusted these BCB morons. Their word is nothing unless you do have proper paper signed contract.

Daily Sun is the twin sister of Kaler Kontho, both of these news dailies along with banglanews24dotcom are owned by Bashundhara, along with few other like Bangladesh Protidin etc.
They are not read worthy.

No matter how bad they are I bet they did not make up the quote from Jalal Younus.
It is worse than yellow journalism. It is the exhibition of crass unprofessionalism from those who hold high office - and I am speaking of this Chairman of the Media Committee. The vacuum between the years make it impossible for him to determine what is appropriate to say under what circumstances.
I checked - my last major vituperative outburst was caused by this same person. Somebody make him retire or else I am going to have yet another apoplectic fit.

These people who run BCB are simply a bunch of half-literate but un-educated sub-humanoids! Unprofessioanl uncouth scumbags!
I am so sorry coach Julien...so guys what's going on? How am I suppossed to read this, understand this?
Is the paper crooked or Jalal? I know both, but here I mean, what is going on, where is Dr. Miraz bhaijan, he has people, we must find out!

I don't quite understand why our BCB officials feel this incessant need to speak to the media even before anything is finalized. I don't see other board officials revealing this kind of information to the public domain. I know there is a code of conduct for players about speaking to the media but how about the officials?... it is really frustrating to see so many news articles generating so much unnecessary speculation based on insider sources

Barnes from the blue
Law too in contention
Vincent BarnesSports Reporter
It has emerged yesterday that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been positively considering Vincent Barnes as the new head coach for the Tigers.
BCB president AHM Mustafa Kamal disclosed the name of Barnes, the assistant coach of the South Africa, while talking to reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
"We want a coach who will work exclusively for the Bangladesh team. Vincent Barnes is in our consideration and the discussion is going on and hopefully we will take a decision in the board meeting on Saturday," said Kamal, who evidently asked if the reporters "heard of the coach" during the briefing.
Kamal later informed that they had talked with Sri Lanka's interim coach Stuart Law too and that the former Australian batsman is still in deliberation with the BCB.
"We are still in negotiations with Stuart Law. We are interested about him but we have given him some conditions. If he accepts those, we'll go for him," Kamal told The Daily Star. "It obviously means our talks with him are not over," he added.
The choice has come as a major surprise as Barnes had never before come into any discussion or among the probable names. BCB has repeatedly mentioned since Jamie Siddons's departure in April that they want a coach who specialises in batting as Barnes was a paceman during his playing days.
Kamal however was not too concerned about this as he said that the board will bring a batting coach as well.
"If it doesn't go through with Law, we will take a final decision on Barnes because we don't have much time in our hands.
"If we take him, it is nothing to be worried about because we'll take a specialist coach for batting and bowling," said Kamal.
The 51-year-old Barnes has been working as an assistant coach of South Africa for seven years under Eric Simons, Ray Jennings, Mickey Arthur and lastly Corrie van Zyl.
A pace bowler, Barnes has played first-class cricket for 17 years since 1978 to 1995 and took 323 wickets (averaging an extraordinary 11.95) and has been coaching for 17 years and been in the national setup since 2003.
He was apparently upset after he was left out from the shortlist for the job of the South Africa team that will shortly be announced.
BCB has been desperately searching for the successor of Siddons before the Tigers have their next assignment in Zimbabwe in July-August.
It was told that the board has been facing problems finding a high-profile coach as most of the coaches are not willing to take a long-term role, rather they have shown interest to work as a part-time consultant.
The high-profile coaches also have a high financial demand.
If they are considering a bowler as a head coach then what's wrong with our all favorite IAN

i think bcb hasn't signed JF yet because they are waiting for a new head coach and the new head coach might not want JF in his team...

Our fielding did considerably improve during Fountain's tenure...he should stay. But alas, BCB are such morons.

Misunderstanding
Well surely you have no idea about journalists in Bangladesh, because from what I have witnessed later on, he was very upset that he was misquoted. Obviously, nobody reported that. Surely, he needs to polish up on things he might need to say, but give him a break. He has a lot more personality and common sense compared to a lot of other people who go into the media. Also, keep in mind that he is only a spokesperson, and not everything he says is under his opinion. So when you are wishing that he retires, you are kind of asking for the entire of BCB to retire.

Bingo!
Yes, I am.
The consensus is almost universal that this BCB has exhausted any goodwill it might have and time after time have exhibited actions exhibit complete disregard to the responsibility of their position. They are in this role supposedly because they have been enshrined with the duty to ensure proper governance of the Bangladesh cricket and to ensure that the rights of the stock/stakeholders (the paying public, the fans of Bangladesh cricket).
This current board has failed abysmally in the discharge of its duties. We have known and talked about the ONE crucial thing we must do since we received Test status - that we needed to seriously improve and enhance our FC infrastructure. How long has the Board been in office? What, if any, has the board done to improve the FC infrastructure?
Evidences of unbecoming and unprofessional are as common as lack of footwork amongst our batsmen. Trawl the forum and you'll find so many examples.
Getting more specific, yes a spokesman is entirely that - a spokesperson. But someone who holds that position should be capable of determining how to say what he has to say. The rest of the Board does not have a gun to his head, forcing him to use the exact phrases and sentences that were used. And frankly, he is not a hired peon to echo the board's proclamations, he IS a full member of the Board in his own right.
Perhaps a sage advice for the Board would be to talk less, act more.

Well, that's a very good advice for the players and captains as well. All round everyone is talking too much. Only guy seems to be talking sense yet, is the coach. We may consider ourselves lucky on that front.
