For Fwullah
For Fwullah
I know you LOVE to bring up any little (no matter how little) victory of Kenya or Zimbabwe to our attention to show that they are better than bangladesh (well, Zimbabwe is much better anyways). When I saw this result, I thought I'd bring it over to show how Kenya is also (I did say also) not ready for the test arena.
West Indies B 97 and 149 beat Kenya 149 and 85 by 12 runs
scorecard from cricinfo
Jason Bennett grabbed a hat-trick and Dwight Washington picked up three wickets of his own, as West Indies B pulled off a dramatic 12-run victory over Kenya from an apparently hopeless situation. Set 98 to win, the Kenyans crumbled to 85 all out midway the final session at Edgar Gilbert Park. Bennett removed Collins Obuya (1), Martin Suji (0) and Peter Ongondo (0) with consecutive deliveries to finish with figures of 3 for 23 off 12 overs, and a match haul of 8 for 68.
=============By the day, we didn't do too well either. Last year we went down to WI B by 59 runs:
BD in West Indies Page
Scores: West Indies B 193 & 261
Bangladesh A 278 & 119

and we manage to outdo everyone by getting all out for 30. Maybe I should just shut my mouth and accept this humiliation.

that still doesn't justify a 30 all out... with Zunaid Zia taking 7 for 7...

A team is not supposed to have top players. Top players play for the National side. A team usually is made of second string players.

let's stop making excuses about second string, third string. anyone who puts on their national colors should be ready to play, or at least avoid complete, utter humiliation. We all know these were not novices who were sent out there. Shala bura khashi shob gula! I don't dare go to the Dawn site to read the match report.
I'd have all of them shot, but luckily (for them) I am not in charge.
