I understand a conditioning camp is designed to help you increase your physical fitness which include strength , agility , co-ordination and bla bla . But travelling to Melbourne , when all of these can be attained by having 7 days a week gym session at Hotel Sheraton.

Bottom line : Try to arrange some matches with New Zealand . They are in a more crap situation than us . They dont have any matches until the T20 World Cup.
england team does conditioning camp in dubai and several other unknown cricket venue. there might be some reason

I'd rather tour other countries, give us a few years and we might be able to dominate teams in our backyard, but we'd probably be humiliated in foreign countries (i.e India and England), and I'd rather not to see those sights. Ireland is also a good team that can probably beat us in foreign conditions, which is not good if we want to get rid of our minnow status, so its better to get accustomed to playing outside the subcontinent.

Why go to Ireland or Scotland when the conditions aren't anything like that of Zimbabwe? To me touring Kenya or South Africa would be a far better option?

e.g. Ashraful gets overlooked because kamal's naati doesn't like him.... (courtesy: prothom alo)

can't we go there in advance... say some 10-15 days in advance.
that seems to be the easiest solution

I cant believe Some people are so negative minded in here. Why play cricket if you think you are going to get humiliated in eng/ India conditions??? How can you support a team with that kinda mentality?

I just hope there isn't any players in the team with that kinda mentality.

Anyway.. I think we shouldn't tour any lower ranked countries. If we do visit Zimbabwe.. It should only for playing test.. To prove a point. ODI should be organised with windiest and Nz. Otherwise the quality of cricket we played last few weeks will be lost and it will dent our confidence. And if we do lose... It will just push us backward.

Mr Kamal... Please Ignore the bcci and hopes of visiting India...and organise the tour of pak like Ian Pont said. No Ireland/Dutch/Scotland standard please. Don't mind playing against afghans for couple of ODI only
