BCB will soon adopt 2 separate captain for shorter and longer version of the game. Mashrafee will be marshalling Asian Games Cricket.

This is a great move.. I am sure Mushiq will be taken off from ODI captaincy. Something need to be changed to revitalize our cricket!!

Not sure if this because of two captain policy. Mushfiq will be busy with his wedding during Asian games, thus we needed an alternative captain.

Mash will be leading the squad in Asian games because Mushfiq will not be available at that time. Not sure if that will be the case when Mushfiq joins the team.

Thank god... finally it is happening. Mushy should have been removed from captaincy after Asia Cup.
Hopefully Mashrafi stays fit and sharp as captain. Mushfiq should give up the gloves and simply focus on batting. He is a very good batsman and could get a place in the side purely as a batsman.

Looks like HaBa and Shakib was our best captain by stats. Might be skewed because of lot of Zim matches. But Mushy is now heading towards Ash. Yeah Khaled Mahmud captained 15 games and we won none. And now chacha is a big shot in BCB and chief guest in talk shows.

I like it. A lot. Mash is a much better limited-overs captain.

Not only Zimbabwe. We've played a lot of games against Kenya when Bashar was captain.

I think same applies for Shakib. 3 games against WI-Z team in 2009.

But we cannot compare stats just like that. We had a very poor team when Mahmud was captain. We had an average team when Habul was captain. We had a good team when Shakib and Ash were captain.

and during Mahmud and Mashud era Zimbabwe was like Australia. Kenya was very strong as well.
