Default Rubel Vs Kohli rivalry

Looks like rubel vs kohli battle is getting bigger than before .... Rubel sent off kohli with some attitude.

http://www.24livenewspaper.com/site/...ww.mzamin.com/

The rivalry between Rubel Hossain and Virat Kohli took centre stage after Rubel claimed Kholi's wicket during the quarter-final match between India and Bangladesh

Kohli out on 3 and given a befitting send off...how can rubel be the loser in one to one battle?

Kohli's response at the end said it all. He has matured. Knows much bigger battles to fight.

You mean at the end of the game when Rubel came to bat and everyone was expecting Kohli to have a go at him.

But Kohli smiled and didn't. I guess he realized something.

The only proper way Kohli could have had a 'go' at Rubel was come and bowl at Rubel and get him bowled or something.

Rubel already owned him by getting him to nick Kohli when he was on a single digit score. Rubel 1 - Kohli 0

I don't think the count started from this match. Maybe this was first full match you saw.

Rubel is not significant or important enough to warrant any kind of reaction from Kohli.

Correct, only journalists are worth a reaction from Kohli

I don't think Rubel even expected a response, after all how can he react getting out on 3? May be next time

Rubel got kohli out numerous time now. I think now on he might have a fear factor about rubel's bowling. Afterall Rubel has serious pace that can scare any good batsman.

Bcoz he feared being hit by RUBEL, would be double dose for Kohli, so he rightly didn't try that

But numbers don't say so. Kohli and Rubel have faced each other in ODIs just 4 times. In those 4 matches, Rubel has bowled a total of 39 overs and has given away 239 runs (Eco. 6.13) and has picked only 3 wickets in total. His bowling average is 79.66. Out of those 3 wickets, 2 are of Kohli's (In one of these 2 matches Kohli scored 136 before getting out). Now Kohli has scored a total of 330 runs (91,100*,136 and 3) in those matches. Now if you still say that KOhli is scared of Rubel, i have nothing to say. In my view Kohli has played against much better bowlers with much more pace and performed well.
