Specialised training was the order of the day when the national and A team cricketers trained for the second day after the Eid vacation.
Coach Dav Whatmore made groups of three and sent them to bat at different nets, featuring variation in bowling.
Each of the six groups got about 25 minutes of batting against each of pace, medium fast and spin bowling.
Tarek Aziz, Anwar Munir, Tapash Baishya were in charge of pace department, national captain Khaled Mahmud Sujan, Mushfiq Babu and Ehsanul Haq Seezan in medium pace and Mohammed Rafiq and Mosaddek Hossain Rubel tweaked the leather.
Alok Kapali, still nursing an injury, took part in the training but did not bat or bowl.
Whatmore gave some more time to newcomer Mazharul Haq Mridul, watching the middle order A team batsman from close. The Australian coach also gave special attention to opening batsman Hannan Sarkar.
Whatmore, who was involved with a discussion with Manzarul Islam Rana, wicketkeeper Mohammad Salim and Jamal Babu, used his bowlers to bowl spot on.
And it was Mushfiq, who was told to bowl wide of the off-stump to check runs, bowled to absolute satisfaction of the coach who gave him full marks.
