do you think a captain always has to be the best player in the team?

if that was the case, don't you think tendulkar should be the captain of india instead of dhoni?

if that was the case, don't you think graeme swann should be the captain of england?

in my understanding, a captain will be someone who will not say "chasing 270 was not possible on this wicket" or "the west indies game is not a must-win game".

in my understanding, a captain will try to overcome whatever obstacles that may come in his way, and not get bogged down with a pussy cat type of face.

For a team like Bangladesh, the best player of the team should be the captain. The best player currently is Shakib so we have no other choice. Tamim was crap in the WC, and his knock today was ok not world class. I don't see any candidate to be the captain, Shakib is the perfect choice.

No. But you dont have no mike brearly. Shakib's field placings were spot on and choked oz in the middle overs. Fieldimg was a letdown though. Above all he handles the pressure better than the rest.

No one else is captain material. Shakib is the only one for now.

Shakib is by far the best captain we had....he needs a good coach next to him.

no.but yes for the bd team mostly because the best performer is the only one who stays in the team consistently enough to be captain
