What sort of team selection is this?! Why no Shaker Ahmed and Nur Hossain (our two best spinners) on Sri Lankan pitches? And who the hell is Nurul Hasan? I appreciate the management have an eye on the World Cup in New Zealand and want to gear up the pacers but they shouldn't completely ignore the present. Everything will be forgiven if we win the final.

poor batting collapse...good to see abul take some wickets...needs to be more tidy though.
we've always had poor starts, only to win a series.
i'm confident the boys will win this tri series and bring the cup home.

Very poor indeed. Bangladesh U-19 is showing again that they are good at series rather tourney. Can't handle pressure, huh?
It's disappointing but I'm hoping they would bounce back in a style.

Mahmudul needs to be more responsible and lead from the front with the bat. We need more innings like the one he played in the 5th ODI in England to rescue us and guide us to victory.

Not a good start for the cubs. Sl is also a strong team. They have to have a better strategy in their batting. At least 5 Pakistanis score substantial runs, Whereas BD batsmen did not contribute as a unit. I hope that they win a few games, but I can see this being fought out between SL and Pakistan.

This goes on showing how our batting is poor even with the U19s. Consistently, we have been the lacking quality batting even in U-19s.. Whilst the bowlers are always shining,, we never found a good talent beyond the Naifs Iqbal/Shahrier Nafis era... And I dont see one coming from the current crop either. They are still learinng no doubt and probably will get better but at this very moment, the U-19 lacks serious batters and the Haque's are still inconsistent, consistent with the history!!!

Actually...as i look at the Practice Match scorecard, it was a dominant performance by the same team combination in both batting and bowling department. It's not as shocking to repeat the winning lineup.....

Problem is that Nur Hossain was not given chance even in the practice match. Nurul Hasan (who supposed to be the back up keeper!) had been taken in his place as a bowler. Nurul did well in the practice match, but was given only one over in the match against Pakistan! Position where Nurul bats should go to a bowling allrounder which Nur qualifies well. To me, it seems that Nannu is sacrificing the strength of the bowling department to have an extra batsman.
Shaker, however, was prolly injured in the practice match (he stopped bowling after 2.1 overs), and I am fine with the fact that a third pacer got chance to play in his place.
