Default Zimbabwe's tour of West Indies 2013

Zim bowlers are getting thrashed. This could turn out to be a massive score by the Windies if they don't take wickets soon. As I write Charles goes for 130. Windies 248/2 after 39 overs.

71 ball century for Darren Bravo. Windies finish on 337/4.

I expected Zimbabwe to get thrashed this match. They haven't played international cricket in ages. Sad to see that they don't get any matches really. That's why it's very important that they make every match count this series. I just hope they put some fight in but it'll be tough. The Windies are a tough team at home and plus they're on the rise.

Zimbabwe are setting up a competitive target for Windies to chase.

273 is a good score. Windies openers have started nicely. Zim need wickets.

Masakadza bowling like McGrath. Something must be wrong! Even Chibaba bowled like Lee!

What is going on? Sarwan was run out and the umpire didn't even refer it upstairs!

So is this fair umpiring. WI commentator is defending the WI umpire who did not ask for third umpire.
Biased umpiring at its best.

Quote:
"Can you believe it, but why ZIM didn't appealed well enough...horrendous umpiring..." They did appeal. It's up to the umpire to ask for the television replay. But Zimbabwe should've asked for a review, surely.

I think Johnson Charles was injured. I was jumping channels did not see the whole match.

Johnson Charles tweaked his hamstring muscles and was therefore rested. That run out decision was a disgrace. Potentially a game changer. Zimbabwe should complain to ICC.

Rise of WI making it easy for them but you should never under estimate the team efforts of dedications of the Zimb players..I wish we had a tri-series type of things. Lately not that many tri-series are happening with two or three different countries.

Zimbabwe put up a decent fight but unfortunately it just wasn't enough. Sad to see that in ODIs, they haven't risen the way we have. Their batting is more predictable than us in that they'll not put up the biggest totals but at the same time, they won't put up really small totals. That's the problem though, their batting lineup isn't as dangerous as ours which is why they'll have a tough time rising to the level of the other G8 teams. Plus their pacers are pretty poor. They desperately need to play more. They should schedule more matches against the associates.

Apart from the first match, which was their first in 11 months, ZIM didn't do too badly. It was a nearly full strength Windies team in their own backyard. ZIM were without Ray Price who should be back for the Tests. We will have to be on top of our game to beat them in a couple months.

Chigumbura did really well in BD and Taylor on occasion too. It'll be a close fight as Al_f says.

Hopeless zimbos! Seriously if we can't banglawash them in both test and odi, we should stop playing cricket.

Just look at them now, can't even compete in T20, nor ODI and am sure gonna get trash in test too.

Taylor has been a super flop in this series and whole Zimbabwe struggling to score. we better make some plan to get Taylor out early and Chigumbura. We cannot afford to lose against them!!!!
