Anyone remember that test Brendan Taylor played in and he scored a century in both innings?

No Darren bravo I thought was kind of weird.

WI got some exciting fast bowling talent not on this tour but hopefully will be in the fray soon. Beaton already in the squads but oshane Thomas looks awesome, Reynard levereriege has potential, odean smith, chemar holder, keon harding and sylvester clarkes son shakeem Clarke is getting some hype now.

Ambris, Lewis, bravo, shai hope could make a solid batting unit.

Russell, rovman, Reiffer pretty decent allrounders.

narine, nurse for the spinners.

I'm sure I've missed some names especially with the batting.

In form, Mire, Raza and Ervine combined with BRMT and Kyle Jarvis. The WI don't stand a chance.

Revamped Zimbabwe have teeth now. WI should win though. There will be fight and resistance for sure. Very interesting series.

It will be interesting to see how Zimbabwe does at home given their recent success away to Sri Lanka. It's an important series despite being a low-key one. I don't think they are part of the test table as of yet.

Jason Holder on Zimbabwe cricket:

“They (Zimbabwe) had a really good time in Sri Lanka and they seem to be very competitive,” the all-rounder noted.

“And obviously with Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis coming back into their squad, they’re pretty much at full strength as well.

“Consistency is something I’ve preached in the dressing room for a very long time and I think once we’re consistent in all departments we should get the results we’re looking for.”

Good speech by holder. Please keep Marlon Samuels away from micro phone. He may all of a sudden start saying "Ordinary" like Tamim.

Slow start to the warmup match, we are batting first- 98/3 in 45 overs.

Kraigg with 48, he's out
Kyle Hope with 44, he's out

Shai and Roston at the crease, both in single figures.

Go Windies!

I think I was not scheduled, it was arranged last minute. So I love me some tests.

5/7 ODIs would have been good preparation for WI before the WC qualifying, specially when the qualifiers are taking place in Zim

I would have love a complete series. But it is what it is at the moment.

Teams are not doing that at the moment...Australia just finished a limited overs series against India...now NZ are preparing to play a limited overs series against India.
