Never. Following a team is not always about winning. That would be extremely boring. Support those against the all odds.

Of course not. The result is not unanticipated to me. The team had problems and it just became visible. If we have the right set of management (coach, selectors) we can only do better.

you are probably experiencing this for the first time in your life Alex C, and this is absolutely normal (and as many have already said, we all have been there).

stay with the team, stay with us here in BC.... and even if the Tigers end up never learning from their mistakes, you'll certainly build character as a Tiger Fan..... cheers...

really, after a decade of ollowing right after our win against pak...since then.....wow..i must say....i have matured soo much as a fann.....like made me aintelligent person in even other aspects of life

this WC wasn't that bad. our expectations were too high in the sense that we expected every match to play out according to the ranks, except perhaps ours. we expected 3 wins, 2 against minnows and one against another F9 side. we assumed that that F9 side would also lose to the other 3 F9 sides, finish with 4 points, and we would go through.

As it is, West Indies will likely go through with exact same number of points we got. the only thing making this World Cup that bad is the 58 and 78.

Yes, those are huge issues that need to be looked at, as one of them can be considered a fluke, but what about the other? However, 3 wins from 6 games isn't a debacle, nor is it embarassing. Those two innngs are just sticking out like sore thumbs.

Failure almost always breeds success. The boys have shown that they can bounce back as they did at Chittagong against England. There's no reason they can't do it against Australia.

We're slowly getting to where we need and wish to be. We have glaring limitations, but so does every other team, we just have to work harder to overcome them and we will someday. It might take 10 years, it might take 50. But when it happens, BC and its members will shout louder than any critic or hater.

Easily and quickly earned success is not as sweet as that which is achieved through years or toil, sweat, blood, and sacrifice.

Maybe Alex should go to Indian Cricket Forum, he will find plenty of people to jump on his bandwagon....remember the true fans never lose interest, they stay beside and behind their team...win or lose we always believe in our team.

Hahahaha..these guys make me laughh...Alex doesnt know what i went thru in junior school days during 2003 world cup. He'll learn with experience, a lot like our boys...
On off-topic, but i belive this love, this passion, this life for bangladesh crikcet will make us succeed,, iam sure our players love their cricket as much we love it...shakib crying, shafiul's bold eyes, Tamim's exuberance....u really can see that same emotion in them the same as we follow them....and trust me, this will get us far...THIS IS WHAT has made us Reach where we are, and look where all our previous competotors are, zim, ken, ned, sco.....
even this ireland, and afghainstan, they have just come up recently, but u will see that they will follow the same route like the others, unless ofcourse their every sector of population start loving their cricket to the extent as we do

Well for me i am just not as enthusiastic after the IRELAND loss in the last WC in 2007. I dealt with the 2003 canada loss, 4 wickets in one over by Vass, Gilespe scoring the double century, but was heartbroken after losing to IRE after winning against INDIA and SA.

Now a days i don't expect too much. If they win against a big team thats great, and everything else just casual to me

All passionate fans here may lose interest for a while, but if you are a Bangladeshi, you will be interested to follow their progress and support them, it is one's loyalty to his country, I follow the progress of the WI team, even when they play like morons.
