Rajshahi should think about getting Brendan Taylor. I think he's available now.

Arafat Sunny has continued to be impressive. He seems to have variety and is a smart bowler. Hopefully the selectors really think about him for the Asia Cup and don't just give the spot to Razzak just because he's Razzak.

Cut him some slack. Undoubtedly he is the find of the tournament in terms of bowling. Dont have to go so mellow. I dont know a single bangladeshi cricketer who does not use hindi when speaking to Pakistani players.... If you listen at the stump mic carefully you will hear mushy doing the same during chittagong innings...

As far as Rohan is concerned, since sunny did not want to speak in English and he Rohan cant speak bangla so they had to find a common middle ground...

Not in his job description!!! Arun lal spoke in hindi while interviewing Nasir jamshed for post match presentation.... if the team does not sent an interpreter than the presenter is not responsible to interpret either (thats the norm)...

Hopefully he has given them a clear message now. He seems to have been overlooked a lot despite being consistently on the top of the wicket taking charts.

I would think it would be in his job description. The viewers of this tournament span several nationalities across the world - what's the point if they don't get what's being said on TV? Might as well just hire commentators from India and Pakistan only and have them comment in Hindi/Urdu. Why bother with English?

Its not the responsibility of any broadcaster to have several interpreters!! Ideally they should have sent Shamim for conducting the interview..... And to sunnys credit he was only trying to help by answering in hindi so that the interviewer knows what to ask next!!....
The presenter does not act as an interpreter because it affects the flow of the interview... Thats broadcasting 101 for you...
So no need for the bc members to go so senti...

I guess u are not familiar with our selectors!!!

If you think the selectors were not aware of Arafat sunny before than you are wrong..... They just love to ignore a lot of talented guys and eventually they start to rot.... Talha is a prime example...used to bowl at 135 as a 17 year old.... now bowls slower than russel...

No need to teach me broadcasting 101, as a viewer I want to be able to understand what's being said on TV and shouldn't have to know a third language for that. If you're not catering to your viewers' needs, then broadcasting 101 er khetapuri.

The umpiring of David Orchard has been a huge letdown in the BPL, and I'm gobsmacked that nobody talks about it
