Dateline : Bandarban
Itenary of Bangladesh national team from Sep-Oct 2007.
Departure : 1600 hrs from Chittagong. On foot.
Arrival : Not later than 0400 hrs to Bandarban Cantonment.
Briefing : Conducted by GOC, follwed by menial breakfast and rest.
Camp starts at 0600 hrs everyday except Day 1.
0600 : Run 20 miles in the terrain.
0800 : Judgement test - Specially prepared patch of land filled with booby traps and camoflouged ditches. Will work as a team. Follow the leader/s to navigate and end game is to come out without falling in any traps. Course designed to judge the sorroundings and situation . Wrong step will land you in a vertical drop ditch of 20 feet. Members will work together to get you free and thus losing valuable time and energy. Be aware of situation and work together to get out of it - motto of the course. Each day different traps will be set so complacency doesn't set in.
1000 : End of Judgement test - break for 60 mins.
1100 : Speech from Motivational speaker. For the entire duration of camp, different speakers will be flown in. First day speaker : Champa Chakma and Panna Ghosh.
1200 : Lunch - Whatever grows locally. Sourced from Jhum cultivators.
1300 : Video session conducted by Richard McIness.
1400 : Cricket training on a makeshift Helipad cum pitch : Everytime a lefty does his "khocha" or "kodal" shot outside offstump without any feet movement- he will have to sweep a few mines. Everytime a superstud goes for bling bling lofted drives or hooks -he will have to fetch a ten gallons water barrell from the stream and carry it back to the camp. Every lazy run outs will add to additional five miles of running. Every sleepy catch drops will add to "boot polish" for the entire regiment ( real soldiers ).
Feel free to send your ideas to RM .
1700 : Mental test - Conducted for every individual separately. They will be dropped off at various locations separately. Location filled with natural/unnatural impediments. Goal is to come out strong at the end to the camp.
2000 : Conclusion of the day follwed by shower, clean your own clothes, dinner, no tv, reading session ( Bangla and English ) and reflection time among the members.
2200 : Lights out..
Start the same process again next day, until the end of the duration of the camp for the whole month. Some boys will become men, some will quit and run away to Burma ( weeding out process ), some old men will simply play dead or die and will be retired immediately. Survivors will join the NCL.
P.S : This is what I came up with. Took the day off, so I can watch them play last night. Needless to say, I, like everbody else is in a grumpy mood. Please feel free to add, subtract anything you can think of in the iternary.

Haha, thanks for the laughs, although obviously written in anger, perhaps a modified (less fatal) version of this camp would not go amiss if it is supplemented by wide scale changes in our national league structure. After all it did wonders for the aussies.

Well the way our batsmen play without any feet movement tells me that they are already batting on a minefield; too scared to take any step forward or backward with the fear of blowing up their precious legs.
BTW - I like what you are doing with your day off.....here's an idea go enjoy the weather or something......I am going to do the same.

Another Beamer classic. We have spared the rod for much too long.
But bro, you missed the gratuitous swimming and flood relief work.
