Look at total matches Canada, Ireland, Netherland, Afgansthan, Kenya played - How come BCB so late to pace up with the associates?

Ireland was three ranks ahead of us before the 18th July. Any win over higher ranks country will give you more points ... thus, we got that higher ...

Does it mean if we loose next one , then we'll go down quick as well, as Ireland currently in 10th and we are 6th? or it matters only on team rankings before a series starts?
