Brilliant to see the Black Caps acknowledge the crowd, and the support they got. A certain other winning captain a couple of days ago, lacked the same sense of gratitude or courtesy.

Keeping in mind the sheer volume of obnoxious fans in India, I think we are the most passionate, enthusiastic and knowledged cricket fans in the world. And I really hope this sentiment isn't coming across as a biased one.

With the T20 World cup coming up next, hosting these 8 matches gave a good glimpse of what cricket means to the people in Bangladesh.

people did the "vua" chant whenever they felt like it, just to cheer themselves up. It wasn't meaningful in any sense (I was at the ground)

The stoning incident could be a blessing in disguise. Now that we've probably seen what kind of bad things to expect, it should help prepare ourselves better for the T20 WC where we have more responsibility as the sole organizer.

Don't have so much faith on all our fans. Even in thisworld cup, till now our record is the worse. We are not as much a powerhouse of cricket. It will take a lot more than stoning incident for the fans to realize/educate the fans, what they shouldnt do.

Our fans to quiet uneducated things. Like after every big match losing party breaking stadium and gulistan markets is a normal practice by the fans, was quiet normal. I know cricket has a better mix of fans but a minority element can create quiet a lot of damage.

IMO, Our actions aren't yet controlled/matured enough like the Srilanka or Indian fans. Fans will mature with the team.

Take out the political goons from the equation and the fans would do well for themselves. The goons "party hard" and "break stuff" just cause they are lively folks and the hands holding their leash like to keep 'em that way. In other word, they will haunt us as long as we have thee political parties running and opposing the show. Majhkhan diye cricket fan der bodnami hoye gelo.

We're the best fans in the world*, bar none! Why? Just think about it ...

*NOT INCLUDING stone throwers, fair-weather opportunists and such-and-such-player-over-the-country morons.
