Why is everone always trying to belittle that great victory in 1999?!

It's a two street Malky. One then by same logical approach go ahead and prove that many games against Australia were 'rigged'.

If it was a fix. It was Pakistani cricketer who took the bung. I was told by one of the pakistani business man the day before to put some money on Bangladesh on 50/1, but on those days I was not a betting man. I asked why he did not put a bet himself, he told me he is a nationalist but does not mind if I put it on. This is not BS.

On the field, Bangladesh has been a disgrace as a Test-playing nation, with no improvement over a decade.
And losing matches means disgracing cricket? What about taking drug(Warne), Racism, involving in match fixing(Warne and M. Waugh)? Bringing real politics in cricket by John howard(Zimbabwe matter)?

Thank you for putting it very precisely. Although they would not want to keep count of the many dirty tricks the Aussies pull each and every match. They would lose count.

exactly, even leaving aside the sydney test there are a number of matches that come to my mind. do you remember the one in the 1999 tour to australia where gilchrist led aus to victory chasing 360 odd with 6 wkts down ?
it never felt like pak bowlers were bowling at their 100%.

typical condescending aussie, pointing fingers at other 'lesser' people, at least we do not have the hypocrisy of unfairly lording over others and claim that to be a period of good and fair administration, all in the same sentence.

Sheitai toh. If BD-Pak game[99] was fixed, then the final was fixed as well. So the start of Australia's top flight was also a result of corruption. Su** on that *the writer*
PS: I live in Aus, and I have seen a change in the point of view recently. Loads of Aussies now know Shakib, Tamim and really like their playing styles.

The author is pissed cuz his team barely drew the test series against pakistan 1-1, and probably it'll be revealed soon had pak players not gotten involved in spot fixing aus would've lost the other match too and gone down 0-2.

They are belittling us because we lost 59 of our 68 tests. Every Tom, Dick and Harry would do likewise.
