A truly magical game. Drama, courage, perseverance...it had it all.
-Saiful should have been the man of the match, Bowling and now Batting. Simply WOW!!!
-Junaid need to be kicked out of the team, very mediocre at batting and makes the same mistake.
-Raqibul, Mushy, Nayeem is mediocre (bring Jaharul), why give non performers billion chances.
- Shakib and his premeditated shot are getting on my nerves
-Saiful...A REAL TIGER'S CUB!!!

Great game.
Top order was decent, but middle order still looks fragile. Should avoid unnecessary run outs. That doesn't mean they should stop rotating the strike though. Captaincy and Bowling was bang on. Fielding was largely good.
And that should be end of Ash. I've been saying this for a while, but BD is a LOT BETTER TEAM WITHOUT ASH. Period. Never ever get him back in the team.

But...but....I thought Ash helps the team with his cheerleading skills.

I disagree. I have not seen too many pre-meditated shots today but rather Shakib's partnership with Imrul was the backbone of BD's innings. He is by far a captain who does well in pressure situation.

You can't be serious? 2 key wickets and tight bowling. You still want him out?

Nayeem deserves to play in the main XI as an off spiner. He is bowling well in this WC 2011 but batting is crap.

Best game of the tournament so far. Have to give credit to Jimmy Anderson, he gave a lot of extras and contributed to Bangladesh's win.

Main worry is the batting form of Junaid, Mushfiq and Rokibul. All need to grow a pair.....each.
Batting 2nd has always been our strategy after winning the toss. Don't know why we tried to set a target against West Indies when historically we have failed to set decent targets. Our first innings batting failures are often masked by our consistently outstanding bowling performances.
South Africa are unpredictable. They could slaughter us, or it could turn out like this match.....another roller coaster ride.

i too still see no reason holding onto both mahmudullah and naeem. Naeem hasnt done much with his batting so bringing in shuvo in his place gives us more specialized spin option .

I'm no naeem fan, but he's the best fielder + is bowling pretty well. As there's already 2 SLAs, think Naeem is the better option. And Shuvo's fielding and bowling has gone downhill lately.

Great game of emotion,,,, I'm really really happy for winning this.
A defeat in this game could have put a lots of ?s and shattered our
confidence even more than the last game.
Looking forward for the next two games and praying that we can
make to to QF.
After Wc is over we have to redesign our batting order and seriously
we need to think about a WK.

Bangladesh:
-Toss was critical, finally the much discussed 'dew factor' came into play. While it might not have made much physical difference, it certainly pissed off Swann enough to throw him off his game. The time England took to calm down, we scored some crucial runs.
-Razzak bowled well, he has been poor for me this WC, nice thing was...everyone who got a bowl, chipped in. A great collective effort from all the bowlers.
-Fielding was good(catching was excellent), but the run out attempts were poor(things could have been even worse for England)
-Batting wise, another good start from Tamim and Imrul, bu that middle order is horrible. I believe out of all the teams with a win in this WC, with the exception of Canada, we have the worst middle order.
-Brilliant belief shown by Riad and Shafiul towards the end, that was the stuff of dreams.
England:
-Most entertaining team at this World Cup by a country mile.
-Batting was dismal tonight
-Anderson has to be rested, also what is the point of Collingwood, if he comes to bat at no.8 and is 6th bowler?

I still can't believe Shaifuls batting abilities, 2 1 in ONE over. How did he have the courage to take on the English bowlers when our batsmen failed.

i saw his batting ability during the test match against England, but taklu da couldn't figure out his batting ability...he scored the 50 odd runs in 2010, now it's 2011.....taklu da could make shafiul a damn good pinch hitter batsman if he spent time with shafiul's batting...

Well, when you show intent and do not allow the bowlers to walk all over you; you make your own lucks. Shafiul just did that. He got all the English top bowlers rattled with his positive intent and you saw what followed. When batsmen are hell bent on blocking they allow top class bowlers to settle in their groove and having their own way. Never a good idea.
That said, English bowlers bowled a few absolute jaffas today. Cant do much about those.

that was a masterstroke to drop ashraful. he would have never done what riyad did today which is stay calm , not give away his wicket and stay till the end.

^^ Shakib played well today but he tries those stupid unnecessary cheeky shots that Ashrafools also plays, then get out in crucial moments.

How can Mushfiq be in the national XI? Time for Mushfiq to sit out for the rest of the matches.

Although we won in the end, we cant overlook the batting failure by our batsmen, Evryone is calling for SN in place of Rok!

I know you love nafees so this is why I am saying this
Maybe the reason for nafees not been selected in the matches so far was maybe because he hasn't been doing good lately, i mean like getting out--- Have you heard of something called nets.
Maybe siddons and etc don't pick him because he isn't doing good--- There must be some reason why he wasn't selected. I know he did well against NZ but that was a while ago...
I hope you take this point into consideration
