You just have to search India under 19 and you will see they have already announced their squad. First to do so means they are keen. BTW Indian matches will be televised means more money in BCCI's pocket.

First match against Malaysia today. Should thrash them and get our run rate as high as possible. Losing Jasimuddin is a blow, but at least it presents an opportunity to someone else.

Default U-19 Asia Cup

Do the mods know that there is a series going on?

In the first match BD got Malaysia allout for 50 runs and chased the total in the 11th over

Hope for good contest between us tomorrow inshallah, may the best playing team win.

In Afghanistan we've lots of hope for this team, they just recently beat our A team in 4 out of 5 matches. They also played a series at home against Malik Academy of Peshawar, which had Pak domestic players in their line-up. They won three 3 out of 5 matches

Abu Haider, who blasted Qatar or Bahrain out in the last AC with figures of 9-16, took 5-8. In the two matches combined, he's taken 14 for 24. Video game figures, lol.

AFG beat us last time and beat SL this time. They are a real deal cricketing nation...

Worried about facing the Afghans. Last time our U19 team lost to them. Our guys will have to be at their best against them

150/7 in 40 overs. Not a great performance but I am confident we will claw back later in the game.

Even if we lose, we need to be too dissappointed. Because the new group of players are roughly 17 years old and Afghans are playing probably players between 17-20. I am saying this to put doubts in the minds of people who will want to come out and say: "The future is dark for us"

MHRAM - true. This is an absolutely are young team who have several years in the youth system left. They only have one direction to go. Up.

Looks like the condition is seaming friendly, but if we score 200 runs i guess we can win the match.
