Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. A little stretched out but loved it.

A little cheesy at times, but has some gems. The ladder one is my favorite.

Old. Not sure if I posted it before.

This is the benefit of self-mastery and lifelong sadhana. You get faster than camera at times.

Is there any one here who climbed to a mountain top? Camped in a mountain?

I always wanted to be a mountaineer, I have camped in mountains of Norway. I wish to do the same at the Everest base camp . I dont plan to climb the top of everest since I am not fit enough to do that but I envy people who manage it.

That name brings back memories of the 90's . Cricket was my life back then.

My only regret is that I could never convince a Bangladeshi to come with me to a mountaineering expedition...

My fault,
I can see how my post can be misinterpreted to mean that Bangladeshis in general dislike mountaineering. That is not true at all.

I am aware of the people/group you mentioned. Someone like Wasfia is a true inspiration for anyone. Infact I cannot do the kind of expedition she did. I am not that fit, and do not have the capacity to work on my fitness with the intensity required given my other engagement.

My failure is that I could not convince my friends to join me, some of them of BD origin.

It is absolutely prudent and wise to know your limitations. So if you still want to fulfill your dream of going to base camp, I suggest you hook up and connect with anyone in their community and they will provide you guidance. If your friends, won't come make new friends!

Again, stop being cynical. If a gun was put to your head, you could do it.

WILLING however is another chance. It is no joke to gather all the resource, time and energy.

I bet a blind and a cripple can pass Navy SEAL's BUD/S if the perfect dosage of motivation was given.
