I'm wondering why Nasir Hossain is not in the squad after being one of the top 10 run scorers in the last NCL. He also has a bowling average around 30 I think.

Thought they were playing in NZ, still SA has bouncy wickets, so it is still good practice.
In NZ, the wind is the contention, hope they are n ot playing in Wellington.

If Nasir Hossain and Ariful Haque were really as young as their reported ages, there would be no reason to leave them out of the U-19 team. They must have been caught in medical tests.

If BD team become group D champion, we may see our QF match on TV. Both SF and the final will be televized too, though I have no idea which channels will broadcast them.

http://pacific.scoop.co.nz/2009/12/g...ket-world-cup/

Looks like BD team will be facing either India or England from group A, in QF.

If BD can win their 2 warm up matches, this will give them loads of confidence for the real competition. They should target winning all the matches.

Did SL-19 just have a bad day or is it that Ind-U19 are in blistering form? We'll see.

I don't know if you follow U19 cricket but it is always low scoring.
