^ Doesn't matter, we desperately need to boost our lower middle order. Riyad has to be sacrificed unfortunately from his best position. We will obviously add Nasir who will add some late stability but Riyad is our main guy from overs 35-50.

Riad, Mosaddek, Nasir will have to hold the innings at the end.

I know its not their job, but the tail has to wag even if its just to score 20-30 odd runs. Mashrafe needs to spend some time in the nets and work on his batting

From an England perspective is there any news on Bairstows fitness? Presumably Billings will replace him if not fit.

InshAllah..! Bangladeshi win

Let's get the lions. Come on BD Tigers.

My starting 11.

Tamim
Kayes
Sarkar
Sabbir
Mushfiqur
Shakib
Mahmudullah
Nasir
Mashrafe
Al Amin
Taskin

Nasir, Mahmudullah, Soumya make up 10 overs. I'm sure Nasir is more than capable bowling 6decent overs. Not to much to worry, 10 overs can be filled up.
One thinng for sure, the batting depth is awesome. Bring on England!

Fizz, Roman, Nasir and SS all in the XI makes Bangladesh a completely different unit. Whenever Fizz bowls these cutters, it makes our fielders look world class. The matches against Afghanistan and England has showed a complete contrast to what we've seen last year.

But yeah, I agree, Nasir Hossain is a must in the XI. He's young. He's experienced. He's an all-rounder. He's known to be a finisher. And he's the best fielder in the side, yet he has not played in either of the four matches. Don't know about you, but something smells fishy to me...

Fielding needs to improve tomorrow. These batting collapses especially towards the last ten overs must be resolved. Drop Moss. Maybe bring in Al Amin for death bowling. Common sense really...but does team, management, even board have common sense? Maybe have Riyad as a finisher for our home matches, and push Mushfiq at four.

The bowling needs tightening and the pacers need to bowl their full quota of overz.

Im gonna say this again for the team management. Bangladesh now is a team who releies solely to pace bowling. Thats it! Its not the old team where spinner dominate and to be honest none of our spinners are even half the quality of Shakib. He alone is enough for a lone spinner. Lets look at the last 2 years. Igs fast bowling that made us winners! And they did ot consistently! So please no need for a Modharof. Bring in Nasir and see how it goes. Doesnt matter if england is weak to spin or whatever. With shitty slinners like that, we wont be able to do jackshit. So please so something, team.

Oh and one more thing. Lets check the line up of our team when we beat india, pakistan amd the others. We had batting till the 8th wicket was down! The 8th!!!!! Amd now if the 6th wicket goes down, we see hacks lile mashrafe and mosharoff coming in to bat. Goodness gracious man. Lets try out the old winning method man! Lets just forget about home conditions, weakness, strenth amd ehatever else and just solely focus on what made us successfull last year. Thats all you have to look at to find the solution.

Team management went to 7 batsman theory suddenly but deliberately since Afghanistan series.

Mosharraf injured his finger in the 1st ODI. There is a strong chance Nasir may replace him for the 2nd ODI.

Imrul will be assessed in the morning of the match. He both cramped and pulled his hamstring.

Hope Mosharaf and Imrul are okay.

The decision will be easier to select the final eleven provided this.

Sarkar and Nasir in.

Good, valid post.

Unfortunately, some armchair experts, want the 8th man an specialist bowler.

They say, if it's fix, don't fix it. 8batsmen (all rounders mixed) has won us big series. We won against India with 8th batsmen, Nasir played crucial role one of the games he took both Dhwan and Kohli, got BD important breakthroughs. But, he can't make in the side, as some would want Mosharraf the 'specialist' bowler, because he or others like him are 'specialist' bowlers and Nasir is bits and pieces.

Had Fizz been in the squad, playing eleventh would have been much easier to select. You won't have to think much about other bowlers. Without Fizz, the scenario is different. They really have to try hard to fix the absence of Fizz.

Never thought I'd say it, but with Tamim out of form (80 against Afghans came after he was dropped on 1 with an absolute sitter), Imrul is a must. He has always been a strong leg side player and his pull shots are pure class. We need him to batter the English seamers and play another long innings at a run a ball.
