Default Mashrafe fully fit now and may play

Just read a cricinfo article (http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cric...ry/501739.html) where Mashrafe Mortaza says he's fully fit now and can play if one of the current 15 players gets injured, in that note, does anyone think that someone in the current 15 players should get "injured" for fake...say during net practice, so that Mashrafe can come in? Maybe someone that would probably not even get a game like Shahriar Nafees or someone of no use like Mohammad Ashraful, considering the importance of Mashrafe and our fragile pace attack without him, this may not be such a bad idea...

It's not that difficult in Bangladesh to get a physician to say that a player is "injured" even if it's fake

Is it too much to ask from Mashrafee fans to put the team ahead of their favorite player when there's less than 24 hours to go before the match starts?

That's what he is saying, but what is the doctors saying about it? Before we get to the question of should he play or not and how, we should know if he is ready to play by all accounts.

The way it has been put, it certainly make Mash looks bad. I doubt he would have put it that way.
Anyway, lets put a stop to all this and get behind the 15 who has been selected! Isn't the TEAM more important than the individuals?!!

Just an idea, not like it's gonna happen, Mash isnt my fav player but I've seen our pace attack without him and it's looks very weak, besides Mashrafe coming in would be for the betterment of the team

Physical fitness and match fitness are two separate parameter. Even the physical fitness report that Mash obtained , contains no forecast as far as risk management is concerned. Can it be called a scientific report ?

On the other hand , there is no reason to call him match fit using recognized criteria used in performance management in sport including all sort of inductive and deductive arguments.

I am a huge fan of Mash too but lets keep this chapter closed for now. Kicking someone out of the team so that Mash can get a game or two wont do any good to the team spirit. Blame those stupid selectors for this chaos, but this is definitely not the time for this. Lets get behind the team and wish Bangladesh to KICK SOME A$$

Just do as it is here http://www.prothom-alo.com/detail/da...16/news/131927

not till the tournament ends brother. This is world cup not just a regular tournament. Every single match is crucial

He is not playing tomorrow but he certainly will be missed.

Has Shafiul recovered from his injury? I hope Rubel has corrected himself from his dodgy Tuesday's display.

If bangladesh progress a lot in the world cup, one of the pacers are bound to get injured eventually. And if mash passes the fitness test, then bring him on.

I don't think Mashrafee has said anything wrong here brother. He clearly stated that he does not wish for anyone to get injured. He just offered his services to the team if needed, that's all. It is the individual who opened this thread suggesting dishonest and unethical ways to include him in the team, not Mashrafee. So I think your comment is a little too harsh in this context but again you are entitled to express your own opinion.

^^ I want to ask you, why should we indulge in blame games at all at the event of us losing to a side that, by all means, can easily outplay us? Shouldn't we be learning what went wrong and prop the team up when they are down, as loyal fans?

Let's stop all the blame games and ifs and whats. Come on guys, let's all stand behind our team and support them all the way! God forbids if we loose, then we can start the blame game, bashing, venting etc....after the game, but for now let's all support our team and wish them best of luck.

GO TIGERS!! GO GET EM!! GO BITE THEIR A$$E$..

Yup that would be me, dishonest,yes...unethical, not so much, I would see it more as a tactical decision, a correction of a selection blunder done by our selectors who didn't take a chance with Mashrafe knowing how important a player he is, anyways, everything was suggested keeping the team's best interests in mind and just to get people's opinion on this, nothing serious
