I think they are using Elias up the order so that they can get a crappy batsmen to take the shine of the new ball so that Rakibul and co. have an easier time making runs. It also ensures that a good batsmen doesn't get out early... this type of mentality will not get us anywhere.

It's called Gullu Strategy, it does work sometimes.

Ayub gone. He's had a disappointing time in the final. I'm sure if the final was held before BPL started, he would've scored a lot more runs then he ended up with.
