Now looking at the bright side. We are a (excuse my english) friggin Test playing nation and a req. run rate of 6+ against a non-test playing nation (and I am not being condescending) should not a big deal for us. Sure they beat West Indies but the Indies did not have their full team. I haven't looked at our team roster but I think we fielded our best possible team and we should be winning this match, even if by 1 or 2 wickets.

Just Curious

do our players know that the target is 206, not 180? previous experience says, our team are likely to miss this kind of targets.

I think the game plan should ne be getting 160 odd by the 25th over with at least 7 wickets in hand and then just for all out assault. We can't defer the chase for too long as the pressure will be on us.

WI had Lara didnt' they, and most of their players. Ireland should not be taken lightly.
