It is shown on Channel I, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Faruqi who I think is an absolute genius. He portrays real Dhaka life in a humorous way. The natok also shows how our politicians are formed. The story is that two brothers(Kislu and Montu) who are thieves in a village, plan to dump their village and make it big in Dhaka City. So they steal the money from the mosque and depart for Dhaka. When they arrive they start living in a mass block in a hard area and Montu develops a crush on his neighbour Nishi(played fantastically by Tisha), slowly through a bunch of hilarious but realistic events they rise up the ladder and soon the elder brother Kislu becomes ward comissioner of the area through corruption and misdeeds. They make false papers and forces their landlord out of his own house and claims the house. And the younger brother Montu kidnaps Nishi and marries her forcefully, so thats what happening at the moment Montu is trying to convince Nishi to accept him as her husband. The acting and direction is superb along with the storyline. So if u hav time please watch it u wont be dissapointed u can watch all the episodes on YouTube.

Well I have watched the natok 420 on Channel i, and it is pretty good type of natok I watched for the first time. Currently up to the part where one of the brother hires body guards for himself for protection because he is the leader of the party, but unfortunately he died at the end by getting shot by the body guards, I thought he was the main character but he's dead for some reason, so its pretty good. After that I have also watched the natok Onokangkhito as well, that natok is also good as well. A guy and a girl go for a drive to school or somewhere, the guy goes to get Ice cream from the shops, comes back and see's she's gone, he looked for her everywhere around town still no sign of her, then a phone called from her mobile but... from a kidnapper demanding for 10lk taka... to be continued... really good you should watch it!!

just watched a natok called Murir Tin (by Mostofa Sarwar Faruki), it was quite entertaining......

I watch 420 episodes once in a while on youtube, and have to admit some of the dialogs are truly entertaining, never thought those dialogs were even possible in bangla......420 truly depicts Dhaka's para-moholla, with the para politics and para romance......

My friend u hav got it wrong, the guy who's killed is not the older brother or the main character, he is actually the ward comissioner of the area, the guy who works for him Kislu is the older brother and one of the two main characters, Kislu got those boys to kill him so that he could take his position permenantly. These type of things have happened a lot and are unfortunately reality of BD politics. Anyway I suggest u watch the whole natok on youtube, u will like it and will understand the natok much more

I like NTV cause the programms are of good quality.
But NTV is too commercial I mean too much of ads & commercial breaks.

Maatir Kole, Dhakaye Thaki and another hooror natok with Pijush Bondopaddhay and Humayun Faridi where the ghost of Faridi goes, "Baali hasher mangsho khaite khoob moza! Baali hasher...." and I really liked it, it was shown in the 80's on BTV.

Yeah, the depiction of core characters were dispersed in between, few of them acted really well. Specially this boy named Apurba who usually takes the role of Joey but seldomly Chandler, like when he was turning girly listening to spiritual tapes while asleep. The girl who was doing Rachel also did well. Some episodes were interesting, while some went slow. Noone did Phoebe. The writer was trying to get out of the box but at some point he had to stop as it was going way out of ordinary BD life style.
