As far as I know, he is a left-arm spinner who also bowls at medium pace. Need to confirm that.

He's a left arm spinner. He doesn't bowl medium pace. He has quite a bit of a runup and hence the possible confusion.

How do you explain coach McInness' word "Nadif Chowdhury picked up the first wicket, caught behind off his medium pace bowling"?

Nadif bowls very much like Kumble.I've long considered Kumble a medium pace bowler and most batsmen treat him like one too.So I guess it wont be unfair to call Nadif a medium pacer.

He can bowl both spin and medium pace! Being no mug with a bat either he is multi-skilled as they come

"Nadif is now bowling both, he opens the innings bowling left-arm medium and bringing the ball back into the right handers which is always dangerous. When the ball gets old he bowls his finger spin or if conditions or the wicket allows, he may bowl more medium pace. At the moment, he is not quick as yet but has the potential with more work and to become fast medium," explained Bangladesh Under-19 coach Richard McInnes when he was requested to clarify the young bowler's present action.
