BD won the toss and elected to bat first.
Ash caught behind of the third ball for a duck.

"Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Ashraful caught behind on the 3rd ball of the innings for duck. Don't know he is there. He seems to lack abilities to play at this level. Iqbal and Omar doing a good job with building the innings. After 7 overs , Ban 32/1. "

Yeah, not only Ash but most of the batsmen lack abilities to play at this level. The truth is we have failed to produce quality batsmen and that is the main reason why we can't win.

As for Ashraful, I firmly believe no.4 or no.5 is his best position.

Now Omar's gone! 41/2.
If Nafis goes now, we will be in BIG trouble.
Hopefully Aftab will play a good innings today.

Got it atlST!
Ireland v Bangladesh
30 August 2004
Belfast Cricket Ground
Galey International Cup
Toss: Bangladesh
Notes: Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Ashraful caught behind on the 3rd ball of the innings for duck. Don't know what he is there. He seems to lack abilities to play at this level. Iqbal and Omar doing a good job with building the innings. After 7 overs , Ban 32/1. Omar gone! Seems to be beaten by the pace. 41/2 aftet 9. It's getting really dark here. 75% chance of a thunderstorm today.

Saleh LBW for just 2. 48/3 at the end of 11th over.
Their comment:
"Bangladesh should volunteerily abandon their test status and prove thier abilities at the associate level first."
