I vividly remember Dhaka owner screaming at the media after Ashraful's confession. There were many videos of that. Why doesn't he go to FDC? He is a great actor who can put all the famed actors to their place.

Chor'er ma'r boro gola. I hope they put some jail time especially for him. He is not only in denial but defiant as well. Board member'ra tho eder chamcha.

There was nothing wrong about wanting to play in ICL. Everyone knows that if the Indian Cricket Board was okay with it, BCB would reward players for joining ICL instead of banning them. And even besides that, a cricketer has the right to ply their trade in a team which is most profitable to them.

About not being included in the national team after ICL, has it occurred to you that this might be the reason for him trying to get extra cash on the side? Because national team selection not only means more salary but more fame as well, from which other streams of income can be generated. So there is two ways of looking at it, rather than saying they didn't select him because they knew something was wrong with him, it maybe that he went wayward because they didn't select him.

Btw, he was a good bowler, and should have gotten more matches. But that's a moot point now, I'm in favor of a lifetime ban for match fixers.

do you know he was selected before he went to ICL?

i know wanting to play ICL is no crime as it was a problem with indian board, but at that time going to play for ICL meant ban from playing int cricket, it was wrong and players knew that

M Rubel knew that and yet he went to play ICL, back then the situation was not like todays where he isn't selected. before he went to ICL he was on the radar of the selectors and played 3 ODI matches just prior to the incident

What will happen to the Implemtation/closure of ACSUO report if Papon lose the election?

Will it be faster or will it be under the rug?

Utpal Shuvro was strangely very quiet about the Ash saga in recent times so I was almost certain he would come up with another one of his fluff pieces to generate sympathy for Ash. My prediction came true few days back when i found an article on Prothom Alo titled "Ash deserves thanks"

anyone else read that article?

even if he were granted amnesty by some crazy turn of events, who is he going to replace? Mominul? Naeem? Rock would have a better shot at getting in before he would!
