Anamul, Mithun, Shabbir and Shuvashish did well. We should not spoil Asif by making him play T20 matches at this stage of his career. It was a mistake to withdraw him from the NCL.

This team showed great character, and Mithun excellent instincts as captain. These cats ought to kept together as a unit and developed through the Academy and later the A Team systems over the next 5 years or so before being considered for the senior side. That will increase their odds to succeed at the highest level. That said, if some of these guys perform consistently and exceptionally well in domestic/Academy and A Team cricket for at least 3 years, they can be carefully fast-tracked into the senior side.
Shubhashish Roy has been impressive. Tall, muscular and wickedly aggressive, he is likely to be the first one in the group to get his chance at the highest level very soon. He needs to be nurtured with care and proper investment.

Pakistans excuse for under performance
