Look out for guyana in the champions league
My country guyana has qualified to participate in the champions league in south africa on sept 2010,they will have to emulate trinidad, and they will surely win it because they have the next breakout star to come out of the west indies.
Look out for
JONANTHAN FOO
Age :19,turns twenty a day before their first match,a match winner excellent fielder and six hitter.
ALSO,DEVENDRA BISHOO
Age 24 ,but looks like a mushfiqur, best leg spinner in the caribbean, and and was mvp of the domestic t20 competition, can be a useful batsman also,he will be playing in the ipl next year, this is my promise.
GO GUYANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can' wait for Champions League, with all my indifference to the shortest format. This time DirecTV showing it free so you know some big screen cricket from the big guns is all I am waiting on .

Off topic but staying with T20. Has anyone seen English T20 final today. It was brilliant game. One of the key moment was when Kieron Pollard got bouncer which got him injured. Link for the photo below. It was nasty.

Just under the photo it has this facebook "i like" thing. 21 people like this. What is there to like.

pollard just hit 22 off 6 balls. Cork showed his sportsmanship. he was really concerned and almost walked pollard out of ground. His last over was crucial. 3 runs, 2 wickets and got rid of pollard.
Somerset had the chance to run out daniel but couldn't. it was a nailbiter.
Talk about catches win matches, Earlier in the semis, pollard took a very good catch to knock Notinghamshire out

about the guy that is jonathan foo,he single handedly won the game for guyana in the final of the caribbean t20 ,we were chasing 134 for victory the start of the chase was good but wickets starrt to fall at regular interval,at one stage we were 76 for 6,87 for 8 and 101 for nine, but the star of the night was jonathan foo he produced a mesmerizing innings of clean brutal power hitting,he finished with 42 runs off a mere 17 balls ,think of it as last year when naeem 'chokka' won the game for the tigers against the zims,36 runs were needed and he produced the same kind of innings that FOO gave.,.come on guys i need support from the bangladeshis, becoz the whole caribbean has been writing us(guyana)off, but i knew they will create an impact on the tournament, here's a better chance for bangladeshi to believe in themselves, think of guyana as bangladesh going into the world cup next year, all the best to them(guyana and bangladesh)

guyana is not the weakest team in the tournament,an improved performance today, really need to drop their openers and bring back cush to open the batting alongside richard ramdeen, don't write them off as yet, there maybe a miracle in the making, watch out for guyana

I agree with you aklemalp bro. Guyana have nothing to be ashamed of. It's the Mumbai Indians who should be ashamed since they have failed even after having such a squad full of Shuperisshtars.

thanks habib bhai,i really appreciate that, since i have started this thread, sir john has started criticising my guyanese team,it is because of him that guyana lost their matches, but guyana has every right to raise their heads after their performance against the indians,i am reall ysorry that the will have to exit the tournament, but organisers really wantted an indian team to win it because they will get back their revenue from the team, cricket is a business, why can't team like guyana and wayamba, have foreign players in their sides?i am really sorry for bushrangers to lost cameron white, and central stags for losing ross taylor,it is because indians want to dominate cricket in the world, some sort of dictatorship,as i said earlier cricket is a business, ans sir john you have no right to mess up my team, you are what some would call a hypocrite
