Great post by Cricket Sage Sohel bhai...u made a very valid point of our suicidal batting and also about few batsmen though hard worker but will perish when bowler will understand their weaknesses...i also agree that RBX and Shafiul will be very crucial in the beginning and after 40 to get the valuable wickets ...No matter what happens in first 10 overs...spinners may check runs and get breakthrough but this time around it will be a different game what we say last Friday..WI middleorder and even lower middleorder can play spin...

Ya the focus should not be entirely on Roach. Ya we should obviously be very careful at how we play him but from what I remember, Sammy gave us a fair bit of trouble as well. We shouldn't look too much in to his average. He's a disciplined bowler and is capable of taking wickets. Benns another player we should be worried about. He's improved a lot over the years. Personally I rate our bowlers highers then theirs but they do have some good bowlers in their side.

we should be able to beat West Indies...there is a reason that they are ranked #9 ....

our batting clicked during the India game, our bowling clicked during the Ireland game....we need both to click in this game...then winning is no problem....

bangladesh's only opponent is bangladesh....we just need play our game....dont throw away wickets during batting and bowl tight deliveries....

Looks like the tonic has started to work - almost the whole team was in nets although it was an off/rest day! Good, good.......keep those coming Mr. Roach & Co.!

He did not mention the criterion for his conclusion, did he? Was it ICC ranking or last serries or from the history before 1983? The fact is that WI has some match-winners and so does BD. On their day, any of them can win match for their country. Kept it as a reminder for Friday night event! Hope to get back to here with the final proof inshallah.

Roach and Malinga got their hat tricks against two lowly Associate teams, the Kenyans and Neds had no clue how to play these guys, have never played them. On the other hand, most of the batsmen in the BD team have played Roach in the WI, so they have some idea as to how to handle him.
