Its not that I am lieing for the first time but feeling a little guilty about this one.
ami kichu non-existent health issue banalam jeta shune amar boss ero mon kharap hoye giyechilo :/.
Hope Allah will forgive me :/.

PS: looking for some support from BC-ers to tell me that it is 'ok to lie' when it matters :P.

when ever i did that bd lost so this year i am not doing that anymore. but luckily for me I don't have to work on Friday's... thanks to ICC for syncing the game on my off day for me... I have decided not to take sick day during Holland game. i will just stay away from bc and cricinfo and every one else and watch the game once i am home...

noooo I am known as "Roni" at work too & a crazy cricket fan, although I managed to keep my excitment of this WC to a very low profile so that I can take advantage.

I put 40 pounds on Ireland at 10-1 when Tamim and Imrul were going berserk! When we lose it hurts too much and I get hopelessly down and get into a mode of depression where nothing feels good. I felt if the worst was to happen I could atleast have 400 quid extra in my account which is hardly any consolation but atleast something. But if they were to win then that's the best 40 pounds I would have ever spent! I had a 'manot' of 2 rakat nafal prayer if Bangladesh were to win and The Almighty obliged!

I have done similar things before. whenever we get into a very good winning position I bet on the other team to somehow protect myself from complete agony. The feeling of losing a match from a winning position! I just can't bear it. I know it doesnt make any sense to you guys but it works for me and I never regret the money that I lose!
