Default Welcome Back to EARTH!

So the bitter taste of Defeat once more... well that should very successfully trim off the remaining part of fantasy about a walkover series from the minds of our Heroes(!).

~O~BD looked a better composed and more focussed team today..
~O~The Selectors looked like making sense..
~O~The team-members looked far more down to earth than the first ODI
~O~The captain seemed to make more sense with his bowling changes
~O~Bowlers & fielders looked like they wanted to win the game..
~O~Top order batsmen didn’t take things for granted and seemed to work hard to take the team to the shore..

Well... things go wrong..
And they go wrong even when you won’t quite want them to..
Stress takes over.. coz it’s a game of Cricket... after all!!

Moral Defeat 01_BD Bowlers gone in disarray when ZIM batsmen charged after their 40th overs.. that was ANXIETY!
Moral Defeat 02_Usually slow scorer Rana/Mahmud (his last innings was nothing more than an exception) being promoted up the batting order in place of Pilot, when the game was pretty much within reach (provided they keep scoring 4/5 RPO).. that was a DEFENSIVE move by the thin-tank, proven very wrong...
Moral Defeat 03_Can’t deny... complacency slightly seemed to creep into our players minds both times when BD took control of the game & were right on top of the ZIMs –bowlingwise & battingwise!!

So backs pushed against the wall now.
False Pride finds the backdoor.. leaving the complacent minds drowned in sudden high dose of bitterness!
The Spellbound delusion of the Maiden Test-Series glory starts to feel like long-past..
Time for reality now!
Time to fight off ownself...

Let them get through all of it... Coz it’s all part of the Growing Up...
Let them hit the ground and then learn to stand up and start walking again!!
Let them learn to respect the opposition which is spirited, wounded by a series defeat and eager to strike back and take revenge!!

Welcome Back to EARTH... BD team!
We are still with you.. and don’t let us done again please!

I think this will be more embarassing that the defeat against Canada in 2003 WC.

BTW,
Someone made a thread named "BD: 2007 Word Cup Champ" or something like that. I'm interested to see what he wants to say now

I am back to earth long time ago.

But Where is Mr. Bashar? Still in the Mars? Still thinking about the 'Clean Whitewash' ?

I am prepared now.. yes, most likely we r gonna lose the series...

I'm just hoping that the team finds its rhythem back.. and atleast wins 2 of the remaining 3 games...

Otherwise they will be too demoralized!

Today.. their efforts were better than the first ODI.. they deserve some sympathy for that..

we are the only team to play with 5 specialst batsman..... where taibu bats at number 6, and they have a decent number 7... batting wise..i do not see how are we better than them???

no complain against Rana..he always gives his best.. one cant deal with the the lack of ability.. he lacks the ability to bat at 4.. can be decent at 7 or 8. In abahani's bhangachora team he at times batted at 6/7!!!

As some one has pointed out in another thread we were abatsman short.. and we need that in the form of tushar inran/rokon/kapali whoever..

We did play with 6 specialist batsman in the first ODI - result: LOSS by 22 runs.

may be including Rana in place of Kapali made us lose the 2nd match by 31 runs instead of 22 runs.
