Default If you want to be Rich, stay in Bangladesh!

https://www.thedailystar.net/online/...report-1632385

Bangladesh creating highest percentage of ultranetworth individuals in the world.

Maybe need to be a bit politically connected I think to create the optimal setting for yourself. But interesting data never the less.

I am healthy.
I have two eyeballs, fingers to bang on keyboard, a torso, a head and a multilayered dermal suit.
I am single. I have a car. I have one bed. I am intelligent, wise and creative with endless supply of weed.
I am rich at heart. And I LOVE my life.

No. Match adda is at different level . I talk a lot of finance and money but not well off . My standard of living is ok and am not struggling compared to avg . No where near anything that would be considered wealth in my book .

There are lot of wealthy ppl here in bc they just don't talk . for ex shubho family owns channel I or something like that . U never see him talk about money . Because they don't need to

^as opposed to who ? I don't think match adda is fake .. I think he has the money that he claims.. how he got started is a different story .

I think Zunaid also does well for him and given his age and the field he is in ..it is not unreasonable to think he may be toward wealthy/"ultra wealthy" . Pppl involved with finding companies and dealing with venture capitalist aren't really worried about their rent .

So that job part is wrong .

My name shouldn't even come up here lol it's embarrassing. I just have a decent paying job. It's called middle class. But I do wish I was born into a business family instead of a working one . Always had big dreams :p.

Pew Research says the middle class runs from $42,000 to $125,000 (before tax). They define middle as a household of three with an income that falls between two-thirds and double the median income.
This is last year range, this year I think I saw in another article range between 52K to 128K. I believe Orpheus is way ahead from the higher bracket so calling himself middle class is a blasphemy. I also think G-Man makes a lot of money doing options and other trading. Those who have been consistently maintaining a job in the US for last 15-20 years, should also be at a point to start enjoying leisure. Tehsin/Mahmood comes to mind.

Whatever, but never become this guy. You may have a private jet for 2/3 years max and then....

^a lot of Bangladeshis involved in various fraud. It's in the blood almost.

there is also something called next door millionaire - typically defined as someone very low key - appears to be a minimalist but in reality have racked millions of dollars of savings and investments. maybe thats you One world.

But I agree with your observation of having a decent job in USA for over 2 decades, one can with right savings/investment strategy can accumulate significant amount of money and lead the rest of life with financial independence.

I hate those definition of middle class where a number is used. It really depends on location and certain middle class squeeze that one feel. And that is the reason Federal tax brackets are not fair to big portion of population. Democrats always define ppl with household income >200k as rich and always go after that group. And then they talk about taxing ppls 401k. this that. Almost punishing ppl who worked hard their whole life.

anyways via this thread i m talikinh about really making it...

It's not exactly about how much you earn, but it's more about how much you save and Invest and how comfortable and happy you are with your current financial situation.

Unfortunately no, but I had the chance. I was not farsighted enough and ruined such potential in my thirties. Now I am at a rebuilding stage and do not see that much success possible in this lifetime.

Maybe off topic, but I also think it is important to spend the money you earn or accumulate. Building net worth alone cannot be the goal, but having a big heart and spending your money as often as you can, that can be a very noble goal which makes you and others around you very happy.
