Note to selectors and fans:
Enamul Haque jr. Thou shalt not be ignored this time, you really deserve a call-up to the test squad.

^ I wonder how long it takes him to get ready for a match and if he takes help from anyone to paint his body. Its a bloody good effort doing this for every single match. And it requires a hell lot of energy to shout all day long the way he does.

Don't know how the injury of the players, just selecting 15 members without injury
Zahurul, Anamul, Nafees, Ashraful, Naeem, Mominul, Mushy, Sakib, Nasir, Sohag, Raz, Mullah,Rubel, Safiul, Enamul Jr.
I think spin is our main strength, so we should go with more spinners. If the selector can exclude Raz or Mullah they can include another of our crap pacers.
If Tamim is fit, I think Anamul should be excluded and include Tamim in his place for test and for ODI exclude Zahurul include Anamul. For # 3 position there are 3 people, ASH, Nasfees and Naeem, good for the team. My XI will be for the test :
1. Zahurul
2. Nafees / TI
3. Ash / Naeem
4. Nasir (yes I want to see him batting top of the order, give him some chance to make century with a top order as batting partner at the other end. He is in good form now, lets give him more chance to play)
5. Sakib
6. Mushy
7. Mullah (if he deserve a place or Mominul)
8. Sohag
9. Safiul
10. Enam (if he fail then plz play raz)
11. Rubel
Good luck bangladesh Cricket team in ZIm cauz Zim will try to beat us in every way and try to prove to the world that they are still better team then us.

It would be great if Taskin and Anamul could be ready for this series. Openers are a weak link with Tamim out. Mominul looks better than Naeem, although Naeem can play longer innings. I think we should play 3 spinners regardless of how seam friendly Harare might be because a) its our strength and our pacers wouldn't take advantage anyway and b) ZIM simply cannot play spin at all.

This isn't a bad lineup against Zimbabwe sans Tamim and Bijoy but I'll shuffle things around a little. I'll go with 3 primary strike bowlers, all spinners, with Raju as the only seamer and Riyad joining him as secondary bowler. We need 20 wickets and therefore strike, NOT containment bowlers. Shourobh, Nasir and Sir Mohammad Ashraful Matin, KRT can contribute as part time options.
1. Jahurul Islam Omi
ZERO expectation from yet another stop gap measure with limited ability and poor temperament under pressure situations. If he cannot score 50s here against a comparatively weak team, he should be dropped. Maybe he'll be dropped anyway once Tamim and Bijoy return. That being said, he deserves his share of chances because guys like Junaid, Imrul and Mofees sure got theirs.
A couple of 50s (150+ balls each) expected. Extra WK if need be.
2. Shahriar Nafees Abir
Stop gap measure. I hope he gets some of that old minnow bashing form back against his favorite opponent.
A century from 150 balls expected.
3. Sir Mohammad Ashraful Matin, KRT
ZERO expectation but a century off of 200 balls would be nice. Part time slow bowling option.
4. Shakib Al Hasan
One of a kind and needs to bat up the order. Expecting TWO big centuries with 60 to 70% SR generated from strike rotation.
One of THREE primary strike bowlers.
5. Nasir Hossain
One of a kind and needs to bat up the order. At least one century with 60 to 70% SR generated from strike rotation.
Part time slow and medium pace option.
6. Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahim Mit'hu
Continues to be an on again, off again player even after the 200. Six is a good number for him when he's trying to score big after a big score. His big scores are usually followed by diminishing runs until he scores big again.
At least one BIG century with a 50 to 60% SR generated from strike rotation.
7. Mominul Haq Shourobh
Expecting a string of 50s with a 40 to 50% SR.
Part time slow bowling option.
8. Mohammad Mahmudullah Riyad
Not in form with reverse momentum. Good chance for him to score some runs against a relatively weak attack from his favorite number 8 spot. A string of 50s expected especially when under little to no pressure.
Secondary bowler. Expecting him to pick up wickets from one end if pressure is being generated from the other.
9. Abul Hasan Raju
Expecting some solid batting with scores ranging from patient 30s to 50s.
ONLY full time seamer.
10. Shohag Gazi
Expecting quickish 20s to 30s with the bat.
One of THREE primary strike bowlers.
11. Enamul Haq
Patient batting with no expectation to score big.
One of THREE primary strike bowlers.
Bench: Nayeem (top order, secondary bowler), Marshall (middle or lower middle order, secondary bowler), Rubel & Robiul (seamers).

They play pace, even our kind of pace, better than spin. We have quality full and part time spinners capable of taking 20 wickets. The point is to win against an otherwise improving opponent with a spin-heavy attack
I don't think any of our three specialist pacers would make much of a difference with the ball. I chose Raju for his batting ability. Also, I'm not high on Robiul's chances to improve upon or maintain his recent "performance". Once I set aside all relativity and just look at his bowling, I see the type of rank mediocrity we've seen before. At least both Raju and Rubel have pace. Rubel has also been to generate swing. Their best deliveries would always be more threatening than someone like Robiul's when it comes to proactively taking 20 wickets.

There is nothing much to talk about our pacers, not even Abul's stunning batting against WI can save his a$$ I think. Rabiul did well in Srilanka test, and deserve to be picked up again, it should be as simple as that in case of our pacers.

But, Robiul has bowled the highest % of wicket taking deliveries in the matches he's played so far. Rubel, Shahadat, and Abul haven't. Robiul had some awesome deliveries that beat the bat and thus didn't get a wicket in the last ZIM series, and one of his SL wickets seemed a peach as well. Abul's pace is meaningless, and Rubel hasn't been able to get reverse swing in a long while.
My first choice seamers would be Robiul and Nazmul.

I don't know about the rest, but Shahadat should be sent home. Is there a flight today?
