There are videos of the finals and one can revisit the glorious moment of Ponting.
How would you describe his reaction? (I hope you saw what I was referring to) Calm and cool as a cat?
Anyone talking to me like that would see my devil side. (hath thaktey mukhey kano? Translation: Why use mouth when you have hands?)

Could you point me to a link then? I think you're making way too much of it. Yelling and screaming are not the words I would use to describe his reaction.

I don't have a link. He was at the crease 53 minutes. watch his batting. It was near the end before he got out. There is no reason for me make things up and obviously you have missed it.

I think the commentators also mentioned that as SL captain protested him running on the pitch. and then Alim dar didn't gave aussies next batsman a run as he was doing the same walking in the middle of the pitch...

The only part that I saw that could be construed as disrespectful was when he started laughing when Darr stopped the celebration. He actually commented on that after the match was over. Heres what he said:
Quote:
"I thought Aleem was having a bit of a joke with us when he said it looks like we'd have to come back tomorrow and play three overs. I said: 'Mate, we've played the 20 overs, we've actually finished the game.'"
Ricky Ponting on that farcical finish
|
Guess that would explain him laughing. I didnt see anything else. Cant take what I say as the last word though. I saw it through free streaming, and we all know how much those buffer

Punter screaming and yelling?
i doubt hed yell and scream if you droped a funnel web spider down his pants Steve waugh was the Ice King but Punter is Ice Prince.
and technically according to the ICC Punter was correct about the 20 over rule the the match refs are in abit of trouble over the way they handled the final.

Hopefully a sub-continent side can win it next time around!
