tendu remained not out and that is extra sweet.

scoring a century but then got out, even if the team wins, is still kind of sour . carrying the team through and remain till the end i think is a great feeling. congrats to india and tendu.

And Congrats to the young guns for winning the U-19 World Cup. Watch out for Tanmay Srivastav, Virat Kohli, Pradeep Sangwan (next RP Singh) and Saurabh Tiwary in the years to come.

It seems we are riding high on a decent success - firstly, test series win against Eng in Eng after 20 years, followed by T20 WC victory, win against Pak at home, a good test series in Ozzieland (partly marred by Bucknor & co), now U-19 WC and hopefully we will win the CB series too.

The new permanent finds are Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir in batting. Rohit is just 20 and what a class act he already is. And the other Sharma (Ishant) has bamboozled all the top order Australian batsman. Great to see a pace attack bowling in the upper 140Ks all the time, Australia finding life really difficult in their home turf. I guess everybody has written us off, including me, before the Australian tour, nevermind I am ready to eat my own humble pie. Cheers boys! Great going, keep the flags flying high and thanks to all our International supporters .

BTW Saffers are next, should be a hard fought series, any tips from our Bangladeshi friends how to face Steyn & co? Probably Lee and co has given us enough confidance in Australia. However, we cant be complacent.
