In Bangladesh everybody thinks they can do a better job then our cricketers. If only we could score runs by talking, Bangladesh would be far better then Australia.

superb news. Riad's bowling will definitely be better than Reza and I am hopeful that his batting will also be better than reza & kapali (combined..hehe..). Nazimuddin deserves one final chance before we throw zunayed in the hotspot....

Btw, I am not an Alok-hater. If there was one change in the team, I'd have gone for Farhad, not Alok. Also, my observation is obviously a qualitative one ... not based on numbers or some esoteric knowledge of cricket.

In my opinion Alok has better technique than a lot of other cricketers in the BD team, but he is mentally not strong enough to stand up to the opposition. I wish some of Aftab's steel would rub off on Alok, not Tamim's idiocy though.

is there any difference between REZA ALOK n RIYD>>they r ALL ODI players. i would lik to c all the new players together. i want ZIYA in RIYDs spot. I m not saying RIYD is a bad player, but he is just not the kind of guy 4 20/20...

Great decision to drop these two!! FINALLY they realised that they were worthless in this format of the game... its about time really...
However, I really am not atall sure about how Riyadh will perform, coz he really is super slow!!!... and I guess most of us have already seen that from his previous matches...
Really... we do need Junaid... or any1 else who can bat... (I'm not using the word "hit" here... because im not looking perticularly for some1 who is outrageous, but some1 who can bat with say around 70 strike-rate at the very least, and who CAN go up to 100 or higher)
but ya... still overall... not too bad a decision.. expt that im just hoping that riyadh dosen't become another kapali... that will just be SADDDD...
... lets just hope taht they know wat they are doing here...

our big head team management wanted someone who could rotate the strike in the middle and hold the innings. Alok was tollay failed to do that hence replaced by riaz.
In case of farhad replacement they are so much in love with tamim and nazim that they went blind. Hence still there is no chance for zunaid.

Whhy didn't they pick Junaed!!! I don't understand... he has not played a single game after he left Bangladesh. Let's hope Riad and Nadif plays well.

cuz we dont want him to bcom lik nazim ..or tamim ..or Sn ..or rajin already ... i mean when ever a new player makes into the team plays soooooo well, acts lik a superstar 4 a while... makes us hate the old players [lik we hated tamim when nazim was trying to get make the team by playing well in the practices matches]

so same thing will happen to JUNAED [hope not] so they r saving him 4 later

I would like Zia and one of Nadif/Riad (not sure who is good) in the team in place of Forhad and Kapali. Having both Nadif and Riad in the team we are left with only two pacers which is not ideal. Zia could do some pace bowling and he is a good bat (did well in practice match).
