I was going to put Shuvo instead of Nayeem but above posts mentioned Ash is almost confirmed so I took that as an assumption. The thought behind this 11 is in the Dhaka pitch against Ireland we have enough bowling strength with a 2 pacer/3 spinner combo to not need 3-all rounders. What we need is to build a strong total or chase one strongly. Brining Ash that low in order also doesn't disrupt the established batting order from last match and he can't do much worse than Naeem's contribution from last match anyways. Also brining him that low in the order frees him up from much expectation. I would only opt for Ash against Ireland and Netherlands due to this. For all other matches I would choose Shuvo or Naeem over Ash.

One change: Replace Naeem with Nafees. Unfortunately Ash appears to be completely out of touch.

We need a left arm spinner in Naeem's place. So Shuvo should come in. Why are you considering Ashraful in this place?

i feel we needed the SLA trio agaisnt IRELAND

so naeem/riad out , Shuvo in was the only change i felt

anyway ASH is coming in, so we are pushing riad to no 8 i feel.

so we are playing with 8 batsman which is too many i feel. 7 batsman were enough

and our bowling will have 2 seamer, 2 specialist spinners in raj and shakib and part time offie in Mahmudullah/naeem and another partime spinner in ashraful.

i feel we could have done better with an additional specialist bowler in SHUVO.

so my preferred team would have been

I think we need mushi and riad down the order more then ash or rok, they will build the innings in upper order, We need 5 solid batsman, 1 wkt, 2 pacer, 1 spinner and 2 allrounder which are there, perfectly, Not for this irish match only, we have to go through all the way in this tournament in this way. Whenever mushi or riad play some good innings, everybody start talking, why are not we playing them in up to the batting order, but can't u see, dhoni is a good batsman but he didn't play before kohli or yuvraj. What I am trying to say is it doesn't mean that we have to push them up in batting order, they can contribute from the lower order too whcih is much concern of our team.

Mahmudullah is the top order type batsmen and we are done experimenting mushy.

I agree, however choice should be left to the coach/+captain.

If our batsman play as they in the last match, then only thing left is to reinforce our bowling attack. Hence, Shuvo is a good choice in place Naeem. Then again since the one game against NZ, there were no much success for Shuvo. It comes down to the net session, who is showing good and coach/captain can decide that.

Someone needs to tell the moron (Munna) Ireland batting is dominated by lefties (Joyce, O'Brien, Porterfield, Botha), we need more offies against them, not another SLA.
